You know the Empire is badass when their cannonballs can kill a Giant by dodge balling it's face.
I have been a fan of 40k for a few years now, long enough to know at least all the vasic lore and tons of tidbits of more in-depth stuff... But I like good guys... I love heroes, and rooting for them, and seeing them win... And 40k has very little for that. Yes there ARE good characters, and there is a shiny moment here and there, but for a fan of THE GOOD GUYS, there is next to nothing. (I gravitated towards the eldar and tau thinking at first THEY were the true good guys, but there is enough stinky lore on them now to make me realize that the ONLY pure faction in all of 40k is commander Farsight. (This does NOT make me hate 40k or any of the factions other then chaos or the drukhari, I quite enjoy the setting when there is not so much grimdark and evil that it makes the skaven seem like barn mice.) But until recently I have not even givin warhammer fantasy more then a second thought. And then somehow I DID give it some attention... And I love it! There is still the grim-dark setting, (even though its not sci-fi.) but the grimdark gets evened out I think by how bright the heroes shine! I love the empire and root for it in a way that I could NEVER love the imperium. I love the high elves, as they are simply more upstanding Eldar. I love the dwarfs, cause they are some pretty cool dudes. (I admit I'm still learning about the dwarfs.) I love the lizardmen, because who doesn't love anti-chaos dinosaurs!?! The whole point of this rant is, I love this video. Thank you for putting these clips to possibly my favorite Sabaton song ever. Have a great rest of your day. For the EMPIRE!

No faction in 40k is good. You are forced to pick the lesser of the evils, or embrace evil. Just as every person in the 40k universe is expected to choose. Because 40k is a losing battle across the stars. Fantasy is much less global and much more winnable for the Humans. "Hail the God-Emperor" vs "Faith, steel and Gunpowder."
@@z-mkgaming7464 Exactly why I now gravitate more towards fantasy now. Though I still have some moments in 40k I quite like, as well as several characters, factions, ECT. Also, the vastness of 40k permitting every fan to make their own home-brew factions and armies, with their own lore that can be any way you want it is pretty darn cool as well. Personally, I have a region in the segmentum Ultima that I call home for my own slew of factions, namely a kingdom of humans eldar and tau versus a custom necron dynasty, the imperium, a minor orc empire, and several surviving tendrils of Hive-Fleet Kraken.
