Artist Katherine Mann Takes Abstract Painting To A NEW LEVEL (!)

- Katherine Mann is a graceful and free-thinking artist. Her art invites a certain vulnerability which elevates the breathlessness and beauty in every intended layer of paint and paper. She does not take the process for granted and allows every imperfection, every intense stroke, every thoughtful melody to emit through her brush.
Funded by Adobe, this short film named "One Window" is an experimental short documentary that seeks to use the creative methods behind Katherine's own art to produce a film about it. By the end of the film, viewers won't have any trouble seeing how a seventy foot-long abstract mural is a work of detailed self-portraiture about one of the most extraordinary artists of our time. Watch the master artist at work. (Available in 4K)

God... I never thought abstract art can be so stunning. I absolutely love your work. You can feel the colors, hear and smell them. Feel the mesmerizing warmth or the coldness of that one part of a piece that looks like what I always imagine when I think of sunny january mornings, so brutally cold but breathtakingly beautiful. What an artist.♥
That screams freedom! In a loud voice to me!
As an abstract artist I can totally resonate with what you are saying. Your art moves me & is so inspiring. Thank you. 🙂🙏❤️
This is such a beautiful video. The way she explains her artwork is just ❤
This made me cry for.some.reason .
feeds my sense of wonder
thank you
Perfect artwork!! So beautiful. Great work as always!!
IS SO BEAUTYFUL. GREETING FROM ARGENTINA.
Very beautiful love
Thank-you. The little bit I saw in more than one dimension opened the door of a dream the artist Ms. Mann was sharing with me. The sound in the video could be scrutinized to add to its 3 dimensional edges conveyance of her feelings for each piece. For example, the small holes could be represented by the notes of piano keys with background tone poems for the larger pieces. Sort of like a Yantra/Mantra of personal experience written by each observer for themselves in the historical time sequence of irony and resolution from liquid moment to their respiratory consciousness of it.
Beautiful!! Thank you!!
Really nice work! The video is very well done.
