Calcutta biryani does not look like that. Firstly, this looks way too spicy and secondly we use a single big piece of meat and a potato is must. And we don't eat it with curd

First of all, it is not at all spicy. I have tried it.
Secondly, the kit mentions that you have to add the meat and vegatables (whatever you want) yourself. You can prepare according to your preferences.
Thirdly, in kolkata, biriyani is always served with raita and green chutney as well. And raita is made with curd. I hope you know that.
