Hey Quinn. I'm Mike and hopefully I'll be attending SCAD in 2021 as a transfer student. And I'm gonna be studying interior design. I really enjoyed the vlog. Very informative. I had no clue the classes were so long, but I'm still excited. I've been putting this off for almost 3 years. What would you say has been the biggest adjustment you've had to make?
everytime you yawned i yawned
What a beautiful video. I was so impressed! I'm preparing for interior design graduate for next fall semester, and I eager to enter the school XD.
How exciting!! Good luck, you’ll be great!
I finally found someone who has the same major I want
samee !
sameeeeee
i dream to go to SCAD so thank you for this
3:14 I remember when they started posting security outside all the buildings to check id's. I was not a fan (I understand the safety reasons) mainly because it was my last year, and after 3 years of just walking in and not being stopped...well I just didn't like change (wasn't the only one, the drama when scad tried to get us to wear lanyards, you'd of thought they'd asked us to cut off an arm)
Hey , i've been accepted to SCAD and i'm on my way to decide in wish dorm should i move in. Just wondered if you could tell me wish building is the best at The Hive ? Thank youu. PS: I am going to major in interior design like you so you helped me a lot thanks again😊
Hey! So all the buildings are the exact same technically, but my freshman year I lived in Garden and this year I lived in Dance. I preferred Dance, only because of the location! Apiary, Bumble, Colony, and Dance are all the front buildings closest to the cafe/gym, which is why I preferred dance. I’m so glad I could help! :) let me know if you have any other questions!
I really want to go here
wait so what’s so hard about scad? I’m going this fall
Congratulations! I don’t think there’s anything that’s distinctly “hard” about scad compared to any other college, considering all colleges are challenging in their own way. Of course it can sometimes be a tough transition with time management when starting college, but I don’t think that’s exclusive to scad. Basically if you work hard you’ll get the results you want! I hope that helps! :)
Tristan Winchester it’s honestly a lot of work but it just depends on your classes and professors. I go to Atlanta campus so we don’t have a variety of classes or professors therefore making it stressful sometimes. It’s what you make of it!
@@kawaiinati Hell yes man! I'm committed to Atlanta for fall 2020!!
woman* hahaha I couldn't see the profile pic
watching this as a current freshman interior design major :)
Aw yay! Enjoy your spring quarter! :)
@@Quinn_valentine you too!
Can you choose your roommates?
Yeah you can choose your entire suite at the hive if you want!
Are there single dorms? And how much?
You can talk with the accommodations office about getting a single bedroom at the hive/ turner house. I’m not sure about all the details that go into it though! :)
GO OFF SIS
Did u take any math classes or science?
You have to take one credit of either math or science. I just had College Mathematics last quarter and it was a breeze! I’ve heard good things about the environmental science class too!
Who is that person in the bee costume?
9:45 woah she looks like jodie sweetin
2:30 would we be able to get to classes at SCAD if we don’t have a car to drive in?
Yes! SCAD has its own bus system to go to each building, so having a car is not required.

💕QWEEN and I love it💕
I’m in high school and want to go to scad for interior design but I’m baffled as to how and what classes i should take in high school to be prepared for that do you have any suggestions?
Katie Milton I made sure to take all the art classes my high school had to really help me build a foundation. Freshman year at scad is all foundation classes, so you’ll make it easier on yourself if you have a little background. I also did two summers of an internship at an interior design studio, which to me, was most helpful! But also don’t get too caught up in all that, you go to school to learn, so you don’t have to come in as a pro!
queen
the thumb + gasp combo took me out ??
james charles whooooo
How is the ux design major at scad?
I have a question do you need to have good psat and act scores to go to scad
Yes u need to have between a 1030-1240 or a 21-27 I'm pretty sure
I believe SCAD is test optional through Fall 2021 btw
Trust me .... it gets worse. Scad life will never get easier
It’s definitely a lot of work but I love it! It’s totally worth it to me! 😊
Which SCAD campus are you at?
Savannah!
i’m pretty sure there is only one and it’s in savannah
@@lydialoyd2079 no there is one in atlanta too
Lydia Loyd Not exactly, there’s Atlanta and also Hong Kong and I think New York.
Lydia Loyd there’s only Savannah,Atlanta and Lacoste. Hong Kong closed due to corona sadly
