9 years and 2 months old when she recorded this. Welcome to Angelina's world. She is an extraordinary young artist with over 180 covers and other videos that she has recorded between the ages of 6 and 17 which is her current age. She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8 and has already established herself as an accomplished Jazz artist. Her preferred genre is Jazz but she has done covers of about every genre you can name. What you will find in Angelina is a vocalist who doesn't do vocal gymnastics, she simply and beautifully interprets the story and meaning of the song and pours her soul into every performance.
Angelina has sung all over the world for Nobel Laureates, heads of state, music icons, and other dignitaries. She has performed everywhere from small weddings of a few people, to London's O2 stadium, and Seoul South Korea with 40,000 people. She performs at jazz festivals, conferences, and charity benefits. At the age of 17, she is a seasoned performer with 11 years of recording and performing. She is at her best in front of a live band and an audience. Many of her live performances when she was 10, 11, and 12 years old blow away even the original adult performers of the songs she sings. She is definitely worth your time to experience and get to know. She has covered Sinatra, Elvis, Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, Queen, Miley Cyrus, Patsy Cline, James Brown, Lana Del Rey, Norah Jones, Adele, Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson, Screamin Jay Hawkins, and many more.
She signed with Republic Records when she was 14 and has been working on new original music while she completes high school which will be this year. She just recently released her first commercial single with the label. There will be another few originals released in June and her first commercially released album with Republic will drop this fall at which time RR will begin their full scale promotion of Angelina as an artist. I expect her career to take off like a rocket as soon as she is introduced commercially to the world.

OMG How in the world could you leave out AGT Bohemian Rhapsody 13 years old. One of her greatest performances ever, & that incredible jazzy/bluesy rendition she created that made America sit up and take notice. Instantly falling in love with her & doubling her fan base overnight. Not to mention the band Queen allowing her to keep 100% of the rights to her version of their song which is unheard of & the band has never done.

The proverbial ANGELINA RABBIT HOLE!
She's actually 9 here. Oh boy, you are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Her early influences are Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, and Etta James to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, " Wow, what a rendition!" Not only that, but she received the copyrights for her version of this song from Queen, which makes it hers now. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity.
Now 17 years old, living in Los Angeles, and is signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records have agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. She has a new single coming out May 5th called Love Don't Let Me Go and a new album of original music which will be coming out this year. She recently returned back to Norway and performed at a number of sold out concerts in which fans from around the world came to see her. Many of the fans there said she sounded better live in person and was a once in a lifetime experience.
Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a shoeless homeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to be a superstar, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. One of the reasons why we love her so much!
Angelina has also started several charities to that end of helping all underprivileged children and people thru-out the world. So not only is she an excellent singer she is a philanthropist too!!!
Welcome to angelinas world, only 150 or so covers and originals for you to blow your mind with. Angelina covered most of elvis songs.I thought back in the day no man could ever perfom a song better than elvis. Then I discovered angelina by accident in 2020. @circemuller1933 I can sing, but not like that. She gives a masterclass every time. If you aren't moved by her music, then I don't know what to say to you. Perhaps an AJ fan turned you off, or you done't like "jumping on the band wagon?" Or maybe your love for another singer gets in the way. I don't know...but she is objectively one of the best to come along in generations.
Angelina was 9 years old in this video. She is from Norway, competed in Norway's Got Talent at age 7, won at age 8. She is 17 today and lives in L.A.
The song was written and originally done by Jalacy "Screamin' Jay" Hawkins in 1956. That is his picture on the candle Angelina was holding. She was in charge here too. You see her making last minute arrangement changes at the start. And the sustain on that last note....
At age 13 she appeared on America's Got Talent , and blew the judges away with a version of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Brian May and Queen were so impressed by that, they gave her the copywrite for her rendition.

Angelina won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 yrs old after starting the competition at 7 yrs old. The youngest winner of any Got Talent show on the planet. She had to wait two years because you had to be 7 yrs old to enter. She started with a rendition of Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday' which she just infused with Billie's soul. She followed this by another Billie classic with a pitch perfect rendition of 'I'm a Fool to Want You' acapella. Her next performance was a beautiful rendition of 'Bang, Bang' by Sonny & Cher and performed most famously by Nancy Sinatra. She won the competition with what I consider her first Masterpiece performance of 'Summertime' by George Gershwin. Shortly after winning she was designated a National Treasure by the Norwegian people. ♥👣👸🏻

She started studying all the greats of Jazz soon after under the guidance of her Iranian Grandmother Mery Zamani a child prodigy in her own right as an artist and poet. English is Angelina's 3rd language behind Norwegian and Farsi along with Japanese and some German and perhaps more. She did this from 2 & 3 yrs old by scrolling thru RUclips of all their most Iconic performance. Angelina doesn't just mimic these greats, she reinterprets them and then simply sings them the way they were meant to be sung. She makes them her own.
Angelina was begging her mother to go on "that Simon show" when she was 3 yrs old. encouraged to sing children songs, she would have none of that. Angelina chooses her own songs and she is absolutely fearless. No song is too big and no artist is too Iconic. All the most Iconic songs by the most Iconic singers in music history. She will sing anything Acapella at any time and often does. Her Tic-Toc is full of these impromptu performances wherever she might be whether in the car, walking around the neighborhood or in a parking Garage. Accompanied by most often a simple guitar or piano her performances are always incredible. She is well known worldwide in the industry. Her family and Angelina have been holding back turning down many of the biggest in the industry while she finishes school. Remember she just turned 17 January 10th. They finally signed with Republic Records about three years ago after getting a deal that gave her control of her artistic vision and has since released 2 originals, 'Million Miles' & '7th Heaven' plus a soundtrack for the New Movie "The Hating Game" which opens with her song 'Mercy' performed most notably by Duffy. Republic has labeled her their Highest Priority and assigned a team to her including Rob Christy a multiple Grammy Winner, often on the piano in many of her performances and a whole team of equally qualified professionals. She has worked with some of the best musicians in the industry and always get exactly what she wants. They call her the Boss and have immense respect for her. She is due to release her 1st album promised by Angelin to be soon.
She has been diligently perfecting her craft since winning Norway's Got Talent singing all over the world, Germany, Japan, Korea as well as TV appearances such as The View, Little Big Shots and most notably America's Got Talent where she premiered her Iconic Performance of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' which Queen gave her the rights to record her own version available on ITunes and Spotify included on her Album 'Magic' which she released on her own along with a Christmas Song collection. Opinions are opinions and then there's reality and the reality is that at any age Angelina was, no other singer matches her. I guess time will tell for you when she's at the age of Dimash. Only Angelina's character and humbleness to me is enough to bury Dimash. Dimash is a brilliant singer like all the others we know, but Angelina is everything an artist should have, plus the humbleness and very appreciative to her fans and stays grounded. Every fan for her is as important as herself. Now that should be enough to say and for you to rethink of what you just said. You like Dimash more for yourself, that what you should have said.

You might mistake him for a show-off but he is a singer who continuously challenges himself from age 5 up till know first and a showman second. Wonderful reaction to Angelina. She is 9 years old here. I'm going to include Andy Schnell's bio of Angelina. I would go to her performances on Norway's Got Talent starting when she was 7 years old.
Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman.
Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on RUclips. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz.
Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran.
Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage.
Why Angelina always performs barefoot
At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate.

Angelina, at age 6 and 7, did record a few songs in a recording studio at her school, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 7 year old.
At age 7, Angelina’s audition on Norway’s Got Talent, was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried. Musicians working with Angelina would call her the boss since she knew exactly how she wanted to sing the song and would confidently instruct the musicians. While one could say Angelina was mimicking other artists, there is no doubt she had her own style and created her own arrangements, even at this early age. Angelina had turned 8 years old for her next performance on NGT, covering Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition to trim the number of vocalists who passed their audition, and was not performed in front of an audience. In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them. In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists. When asked what she would like to do with the prize money she won (500,000 kroner or about $80,000), Angelina replied, “I want to give it to the poor children”. Record company executives flew their private jets to Norway to attempt to sign 8 year old Angelina but all were thankfully rebuked. Disney also made an offer but not accepted.
In December 2014, Angelina realized a life-long desire to sing at the Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration which is part of the Noble Peace Prize celebration. Angelina’s family took her to United States, Brazil, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Russia, South Korea, Singapore and Mexico among other corners of Earth, to perform for heads of state and to help raise money for charity. All before Angelina turned 14.
At age 11, Angelina recorded her “It’s Magic” album which has, at times, been in the top 10 best selling jazz albums. The album can be purchased on iTunes or Amazon.
On June 27, 2018, at age 12, Jordan performed “Fly Me to the Moon” for Quincy Jones in The O2 Arena in London. She has said that was the high point of her young career which was already in it’s 6th year. During 2018, Angelina lost her paternal grandfather, her friend Avicii and one of her idols, Aretha Franklin. She did a moving tribute for each.
In 2019, Angelina accepted an invitation to compete in the 2nd season of America’s Got Talent (AGT), The Champions. She had, since age 3, wanted to perform for Simon Cowell and she earned his praise with her genius arrangement of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The surviving members of Queen loved it so much they put a link to it on their Twitter and allowed Angelina to copyright her version. Angelina’s family refused to sign any agreement with AGT which would give Simon any control over her career.
Angelina, before age 14, had covered more than 130 songs from 80 different artists, spanning at least 8 genres, all of which are available on RUclips. Angelina has always made changes to each song she covers and often her version is preferred over the original. The pandemic hit shortly after her performances on AGT and likely caused a change of plans by her family, most notably her Uncle Michael who is her manager. Her family agreed to a contract with Republic Records in August 2020. Republic Records declared Angelina Jordan their highest priority new artist. Reportedly her family requested Republic to allow her as normal a childhood as possible and therefore have yet to fully promote her.
During the pandemic, Angelina was often seen buying meals for the homeless on the streets of Los Angeles.
In November 2020, Angelina released “Million Miles” which she wrote after the passing of her beloved maternal grandfather. She dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one.
Angelina had previously released, 3 other original songs: “What is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” In April 2021, her original “7th Heaven” was released. A jazzy, danceable, inspiring song.
Angelina had concerts in Norway in July 2022. In December 2022, Angelina performed at the Asian American Awards in Los Angeles. On 2/27/23, Angelina performed at the FIFA Awards ceremony in Paris, France, with a viewing audience in the millions.
Personally, Angelina is a great human being and her music came into my life when I needed it most. Her music has improved the quality of my life more than I can express. I now introduce her to as many people as I can, with the hope her music will do the same for others. We know once her family believes the time is right and allows Republic Records to fully promote her, she will become the superstar she has always dreamt and believed she would be. At five try’s to audition for Norway’s Got Talent, but is told she must be seven.
At six she enters sound booth for the first time and records four songs. Rolling In The Deep, Hurt, Sky Fall and most notably I Who Have Nothing.
At six is living in the Middle East where her legend begins.
At seven she auditions for Norway’s Got Talent.

It is truly a conundrum when we try to rationalize how it is possible that this tiny sweet-faced 9yo Norwegian girl can step up to a microphone, flip some switch within her, become this "beast-mode" version of herself (most probably named "AJ don't play"), deliver an extraordinary and musically and socially sophisticated performance, then just-like-that return to the pensive young lady once again... There aren't words for this!
"I Put a Spell On You" has been covered many times and is recognized as a classic, yet almost never is the tone of the original 1956 "Screamin" Jay Hawkins version captured. This is because Hawkins was the original shock-rock guy (think Ozzy Osbourne-type craziness) and his style is difficult to emulate and also because his dated delivery is uncomfortable and stereotypical to our modern sensibilities. Yet Angelina respectfully sings his own song in a manner that exceeds his (Hawkin's image is on the candle she holds at the start of her video).
You must go and listen again to Hawkins' original (and throw in a couple of "famous" covers as well) to see the true genius in how AJ incorporates many of his vocal elements [usually omitted by most singers]. Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even donated her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond.

This was filmed just after her 9th birthday. It is an homage to Screaming Jay Hawkins who recorded this in 1956. She has been listening to jazz greats since she was born, and there's a film of her 'singing' jazz at 18 months old. She won Norway's Got Talent when she was 7. Debby, at this point in time, as my dear co-commenters said 9 years and 2 months old, and she was the national treasure of Norway, not fanboying her. At age 8 she was nobled by king and country and to this day her homcountry hold her dear and musicians in the whole world call her THE BOSS. Her spooky instinct for music is stunning. When Angelina asks, not demands:"couldn´t we play tha a key higher???" The musicians knew and know, that is what is best for this song. I have watched and listened to her in awe since she released her first video on RUclips, and what has been evident to me from the start is that she sings with total conviction, despite the fact that she is far too young to have experienced the events suggested in the lyrics of the song she has chosen to sing. But it is not only that, for strange as it may seem is the even more remarkable fact that she can convey the appropriate emotions within those lyrics to her listener.
Angelina was 9 years and 2 months old when she performed this song. It is her tribute to Screamin' Jay Hawkins, who wrote and performed the song in 1956 (50 years before Angelina was born). She based her arrangement on his original performance, although she discarded all the theatrics and allowed her voice and body language to tell the story. The song has been covered by many singers over the years, but to my knowledge, Angelina is the only one who has sung in the same style as the original.
There are many things I found particularly worthy of note in this video. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed. Another Angelina "Angel" has pointed out something else which I had missed, and it is added at (l) below,
(a) Angelina finishing writing last minute changes she wanted and handing them to the Music Director, who smiled.
(b) A brief glimpse of Mery Zamani, Angelina's maternal grandmother, a well known and respected Iranian Artist and poet who was also a child prodigy. She was the person who recognised Angelina's talent at an early age and exposed her to all the old time jazz singers.
(c) The candle with an image of Screamin' Jay Hawkins on it.
(d) The smile on the face of the Bass player.
(e) How she rose on to her toes on the last occasion she sang "...because you're mine"
(f) The fact she occasionally refers to her written notes on the music stand. Possibly to remind herself of the last minute changes she wanted.
(g) Her unwavering passion throughout the performance. Evidenced by her facial expressions and the way she uses her hands and body to emphasise the direction of the song.
(h) The way she takes a breath just before she starts the last phrase (I don't care.....) and that breath lasts the whole of that sustained note. A child of that age should not have the ability to hold a note for that length of time.
(i) At the end, when she sings I Doooont Caaaaare, she employs TWO separate and distinct vibratos to the word care, a wide one to start the word and a tighter one to close the word
(j) The instant transformation from "performance" mode to that of a pensive child, possibly wondering whether she could have done better. I comment on the "pensive" child because Angelina has an incredible work ethic and seeks to perform every song in a way she considers will bring out all the emotions within the lyrics and melody.
(k) Perhaps the most remarkable is that despite her tender years, she sings with such total conviction that her authenticity is never in doubt. It is easy to believe that she has experienced the events described in the lyrics. It is not only her voice that is mesmerising, it is also her facial expressions, and the way she uses her hands and body. Her stage presence is electrifying.
(l) The performance absolutely is powerful and raw but to me, I am amazed that this is balanced by the profound beauty of the ending phrase; the last twelve words of the song. AND… they are essentially sung a cappella!
Angelina has been referred to as the "Queen of Jazz", "The Barefoot Princess", "The girl with a thousand voices". All of them are true, but I prefer the nickname I gave her after listening to about six of her performances. For me, she is "The Chameleon of Song", for as a chameleon is able to change its colour to match its surroundings, so Angelina is able to change the "colour" of her voice to accurately match the needs of the song to reveal the emotions within the lyrics and melody. Even more remarkable is her innate ability to communicate those same emotions to her listeners.

While that’s a cute story, it’s not accurate. The band definately knew of Angelina Jordan. The trumpet player accompanied her for her winning performance of “Summertime” on Norway’s Got Talent. Angelina became extremely well known in Norway when she won. It is true that this was Angelina’s arrangement and the band did call her “The Boss”.
They absolutely knew who she was. She became well known in Norway when she won Norway Got talent the year before and the fact that she brought one of the most well known photographers (Per Heimly) to record the video, means that this was not a surprise visit.

She has indeed been singing jazz since she could talk. Hence top tier jazz oozes from her while being totally relaxed and natural. Perfect timing, a little back phrasing when needed, perfectly placed vibrato, vocal fry, whistle tones, growls, and shouts.
Best part is, you havent seen anything yet! She just gets better and better and better 😊 15 minutes is not too bad, many of us watched 2 brothers do a 45 minute long reaction to Angelina just a few days ago. The next step is usually her performance at Americas got talent, where she does her own arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody. One more thing, if you fall in love with her music, you are in for the ride of your life, she has something like 200 songs available on YT. Angelina Jordan on the other hand can sing any genre of music better than anyone else, and her favorite genre is jazz, but she can sing any genre and do it surpassingly well her voice is very unique. Fans of Angelina are called angels, and you will notice she always sings barefoot, which stems from an encounter with a young girl when she was six years old who had no shoes so Angelina gave her her own shoes and the little girl promised she would pray for Angelina. My thoughts on this performance.
I love this performance so much. As they say AJ don't play. We get the most stunning, amazing performance of a 9 yr old of this Jazz standard ever created. I believe it is going to go down in Jazz & Music history as the best ever for this age and in my opinion the best rendition of this song ever created Screamin Jay included. It will be revisited for Decades and will remain relevant for Generations to come. Anyone who discovers this performance for the first time today or a 100 years from today are going to be as amazed and astounded as everybody has been to this point.
Think of the children who will be inspired by this one performance in the decades to come. This is an Iconic performance and will always be Iconic. Angelina has on her own from early on at 6 or 7 yrs old reintroduced what I believe will be a whole new Jazz Era and redefined by this young phenom and prodigy. That is astounding! And she is just 17 years old... That is unfathomable. She has already established her proficiency and incredible work ethic in this endeavor guided by an incredible family and professional support now surrounding her.

After watching dozens more, I finally dragged myself to bed about 3 a.m.! LOL! I just couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing. And when I learned the story of why she always performs barefooted, regardless of weather or any other conditions, my heart just melted for her, and I've loved her with a grandfatherly love ever since. She sang BANG BANG, and then SUMMERTIME, in the final, two other early ones to watch are FLY ME TO THE MOON age 8 on The View USA, also WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKE which she sung at a huge outdoor concert with backing singers.

I saw that you noticed her bare feet. The story of her bare feet is one of unbelievable commitment and caring. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling in the middle east (her grandmother is Iranian), and she came across a young girl close to her age who was working in the street offering to weigh people with a bathroom scale for money. She had no shoes on her feet and her feet were cracked and in pretty bad shape. They talked for a while and then the little girl mentioned how nice she thought Angelina's shoes were. Angelina asked her if she had any shoes and she said no, so Angelina gave her the shoes off her feet. Angelina asked her what her dreams were and the little girl said she wanted to be a doctor. Angelina told the little girl that she wanted to be a star and sing for the world. The little girl told Angelina she would pray for her every day and asked Angelina to not forget about her. Angelina made a promise at that time that any time she sang in public she would sing barefoot to remember this little girl and bring awareness to the suffering of children around the world. To this day, over 7 years later, she has stayed true to that commitment. She remains a very grounded and humble young lady She has spent the past 7 years pouring out her soul and her talent to help people who are not as fortunate as her. She donated much, if not most of her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to children's charities and has performed in benefit concerts across the globe in support of disadvantaged children and other social causes (raising over 20 million Euros).

Be sure to get the one that says English subtitles so you can hear what the judges say to her and to each other afterward. AJ was actually 9 when she recorded this song. She was still a little child. I would suggest you watch her video of I who have nothing which was her first studio recording at age six! Then you should watch her sing Gloomy Sunday on Norway’s Got Talent, which she won at age seven. You can also watch her singing Bohemian Rhapsody on America’s Got Talent Champions in 2013.
Angelina appeared on AGT Champions in 2019/2020 - she was 13/14.
I believe there were four private studio recordings at age 6. I think IWHN was one of the latter.

Angelina, just turned 9 in this clip (17 now), is immensely talented. Her grandmother introduced her to classic jazz singers at a very young age and she was weaned on singers like Billie Holiday, Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald, and she actually arranged this performance herself. You are in for a treat when you start digging into all her covers, not to mention her own original songs. Her family wanted her to finish school as a normal kid before concentrating on her singing career, which is probably why you have not heard of her before. This girl has true empathy and maturity beyond her years, as seen by the reason she always performs barefoot. Look into it.
