Another good video Alastair! Focus Stacking for landscapes is something I need to dabble with, will be interesting to adapt your methods to my choice of open source photography software (mainly Darktable & Gimp) :-)

HI Alistair I have just picked up this video, it is now November 2019, Great Tutorial, I don't think you switched over to LR, I could see the Panel on the left was still in PS, not LR. the Flowers in the foreground were Foxgloves, Also like Cam Forrest I liked it better with the Duck in, But we all have our likes and dislikes, Some good ideas on removing unwanted objects, Thanks welshman 2081

Thanks for watching. I found PS suited my editing technique better.

I personally think that the said duck would create a poignant moment in an interdependent landscape. From rock niche of plants to duck to castle [like stepping stones] and makes the image more meaningful narrative...but that's me. [Artist from SA]. ps. Having said so its a lovely Scottish sojourn, I so wish to visit oneday as My Grandpa was scottish so it runs in my blood. Thank you for a calming , informative FS.

Cam Munting Get where your coming from. Thou every time I went away and came back to image, eye was drawn to the duck. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Beautiful final image! A location i'd very much like to visit myself one day. You did a solid job here of explaining all stages in your work flow. Well done Alastair - I've subbed your channel
