Thats a real nice planted tank buddy I just ordered a 160e tuna sun for my 25 gallon I have been after these lights for years it was just never in my budget or logical to purchase at the times I when I had money, but I had enough waiting and ordered one today your review was good answered all my questions about these lights thanks for sharing.
Hey great video! Quick question. I'm getting a similar tank and was wondering something. If your running at half power could I get away with three smaller ones? And still grow plants ok?
Yeah wow. Thank you sir. The fan part is worrying me a bit. If I have 4-6 of these is it going to be super loud? Hard to gauge without hearing them in person.
+The Cichlid Show These A360WE's are very quiet! You wont even hear them :) The Amazon sun series are pretty loud I wouldn't suggest them. Thanks for watching!
That's a really great tank you have! Looks amazing with those lights on top! Different question: is there a benefit to running both co2 and also an air pump?
+Don Suomi your best bet is to get an inline co2 diffuser. Green leaf aquatics makes one. This mixes the co2 100% via your canister filter output line.
Oh, I think I've seen one recently. I might have a look at that one. But well, you have normal Co2 diffuser and air pump and your tank looks great, so maybe I shouldn't worry too much. Anyway, thanks for helping me with my questions. Very much appreciated!
I think it's mostly the substrate. mine aren't cranked up. If you watch some of my other videos I have lighter substrates that don't absorb as much light. Thanks for watching !
Hi Could you say the measurements of your aquarium? I have 3 saved Kessil A360 spotlights and I want to make a new aquarium. The measurements of your aquarium serve me to imagine the final result of mine. Greetings fron Spain.
Thank you very much. I see that the measurements are very similar to my future aquarium 140cm x 60cm x 50cm (55 "x 23" x 20 "approx.) I wanted it bigger, but I haven't more space. Regards!!
Versaquatics1 this was quite a while ago. I no longer run octogenarian with co2, although it didn't seem to harm anything. I'm not using the dosing system any longer because it wasn't always accurate and I found I don't need to dose more than 1 Time a week.
Thanks for the responses. I've had issues over the years with dosing systems, as well. Always have found manual dosing is more accurate, albeit more cumbersome. Any issues with the Kessil's up to this point? Been thinking about upgrading my current LED system.
Be noce if you could go below 6000k makes red pop more. You can get horticulture t5ho bulbs for 13.99 here in canada so probably under $10 in the usa. Youd have to run those t5 bulbs for 30 years to hit the price of 1 kessil. Cant mix bulb temperatures for better color highlights in the tank, and much better spread than a kessil. T5s are the most economical, proven and look great.
the amazon suns aren't controllable or weren't at the time. Also this tank is deep and the A360WE Tunda sun penetrates far better. I would have needed like 6 amazon suns
Thanks for clearing up some questions about Kessil LEDs. Appreciated tour of tank too! Very nice. I'll check out more of your vids.
thank you!

W4RD1N8ER hey thanks for checking it out and congrats on the light purchase. Hope you enjoy!
W4RD1N8ER hi. Did u fig out how to set to 6500k?

Nice collection of Kessil Lights! Awesome.
Zacks Tanks Crazy Aquarium Guy Thank You!!!
I have the spectral controller. What is your light cycle and settings and how far above water do u keep them
Great and informative video.
That's a really great tank you have! Looks amazing with those lights on top!
Different question: is there a benefit to running both co2 and also an air pump?
Thank you! Yes there is. If your running co2, always run air. This insures your fish won't be gassed.
I was thinking to get air pump, but will the plants still get enough Co2 when most of that Co2 escapes, because of air pump?
+Don Suomi your best bet is to get an inline co2 diffuser. Green leaf aquatics makes one. This mixes the co2 100% via your canister filter output line.

+Don Suomi I actually recently went to the inline! I love it! Hides the line and diffuser. I still think you will be fine with that!
I have a question for you the tank I saw had so much shimmer. Does yours I can't tell maybe cause it's a video?
I think it's mostly the substrate. mine aren't cranked up. If you watch some of my other videos I have lighter substrates that don't absorb as much light. Thanks for watching !
do you think 2 360s will be enough for a 5ft long 100gal?? I don't think I can afford 3 of these now... lol
ayyb0ss it's very possible. How deep is the tank?
Kevs Hi Tek Tanks its 20 inches deep. what do you think about 3 160's vs a 2 360's for a 5 foot long tank??
how deep is the tank.....how do you think the kessil would do on a 24"deep high tech carpeted tank?
taboostable that's exactly what this is. 24" deep with carpet.
What do you think about running this light in the tuna blue on a freshwater tank?
You would get lots of algae
@@aquatichighs actually have been running them for 6 months now zero algae issues so far
Your tank looks really fun. FunTek tanks.
Thank You!
Tanks looking good...great review!
dwsdarius Thanks Bud!
what is the length of your tank could you tell me in feet love your work
+Varun Pathak Thanks Bud! It's a 6' Tank. Complete dimensions are 6'X2'X2'.
+Reefkeeper578 im getting ready for my 8x2x2 next year
+Varun Pathak exciting bro!
Hi
Could you say the measurements of your aquarium?
I have 3 saved Kessil A360 spotlights and I want to make a new aquarium. The measurements of your aquarium serve me to imagine the final result of mine.
Greetings fron Spain.
Eduardo Recio sure ! This aquarium measures 60"X24"X24". Hope this helps!
Thank you very much.
I see that the measurements are very similar to my future aquarium 140cm x 60cm x 50cm
(55 "x 23" x 20 "approx.)
I wanted it bigger, but I haven't more space.
Regards!!
i have an 8 ft. tank , i got 2 yard lights 6500K 100 W LED they work great $110.- each .
Nice do you have a controller for them? I like having a controller hooked up and nothing beat these lights!
love this lights. i wish they were cheaper
yeah they are expensive. If taken care of, they last for years!
How many drips of co2 per second are you dosing?
Versaquatics1 these days about 5bps.
Keep air pump running 24/7 along with co2? Beautiful tank btw. Also curious how your dosing system is working out for you. Thank you, sir.
Versaquatics1 this was quite a while ago. I no longer run octogenarian with co2, although it didn't seem to harm anything. I'm not using the dosing system any longer because it wasn't always accurate and I found I don't need to dose more than 1 Time a week.

Versaquatics1 I love the lights! They work great!
Hi. Is 6500 all the way to the left on the color or all the way right.. pls help.
get a controller
What color percentage is 6500K? On spectral controllers
yeah between there and 6700. kessil controller

Now why not the Amazon sun ?
the amazon suns aren't controllable or weren't at the time. Also this tank is deep and the A360WE Tunda sun penetrates far better. I would have needed like 6 amazon suns
The guy from Jessie at reefa palooza told me they last 15 years.
Thank you for sharing !
Damn those lights must have cost you an arm and a leg
+Fred Beer they are 399.99 each. Great lights and should last 10-15 years. Thanks for watching! :)
then how come their warranty is only 2 year??? fishy.
Can get led flood lights that cost like $50
Sweet lights but way way way over priced.
ehh i sorta agree. They are very nice tho. to me, totally worth it!
eh if you say so. you get what you pay for !
Contrary to what this guy says, the fans are LOUD! Get the A160WE instead. No fans.
i disagree but okay!
