Hi, someone who lives in the state of Oaxaca Mexico 🙋🏽‍♀️
    It’s pronounced, waa • haa • kuh
If you’re looking for a delicious cheese that melts beautifully and gives you a satisfying cheese pull in your quesadillas, that’s the one. Queso Oaxaca 😊
Ps: it pulls apart like string cheese if you’re ever confused on how to use it

My lovely mama had a waffle maker bought probably in the 50s or 60s. When she no longer used it, she offered it to me, as I loved 🧇. BUT I had to pay her exactly what she had paid originally….50 cents at a yard sale😂. I miss her😊

Really handy if you need a quantity of something. Might be good for bulk cooking of freezer meals. With some pre-planning, I could see how you could buy bulk items for lower prices and split with family and friends. It would save everyone money. Also, that 5# bag of pecans, if a good price, could be split up in smaller bags and thrown in the freezer. Lots of fun stuff. Thanks for the tour.

There’s a Costco business center across the sound in Tacoma. I haven’t been in years, but I have been thinking about it ever since my regular Costco stopped carrying shredded sharp cheddar cheese. I think it’s fantastic that Costco makes the effort to have stores in Alaska despite the difficulty of getting there. I think it would be much more difficult for the entire state if Costco pulled out like Sam’s did. I heard your new store is going to be both an appliance AND a furniture showroom which seems like another huge blessing for everyone there. Costco used to have a furniture showroom in Kirkland Washington, but I haven’t been in 20 years and I don’t think it’s still there, but I could be wrong. Wonderful to see you! Hugs for sweet Violet! 💜

Hi Guys, I can answer the couple of mexican questions you have (I've lived here in Oaxaca for 37 years now) Oaxaca is the spanish attempt to spell the name of this State in southern Mexico. It's pronounced Wah-HAH-Kah (accent on the second syllable) The Oaxaca Cheese is a huge ball of mild string cheese.
Hominy is White Corn, the Same corn we use in the US for Grits. In Mexico we use it for Pozole which is a pork stew that uses the head of the pig for all the meaty bits. So we call it Maiz (corn) Pozolero (for use in Pozole)
Nuts Freeze well, whenever I can get a big bag at a good price I take advantage of it.
Take Care. All the Best, Jim Retired

My parents had an Chinese store growing up and my dad would go to a similar business stores. To me it was so much fun to see the big sizes in candy and cookies as a kid. It creates more possibilities with the commercial sized items in this store for better prices. Fun exploring video !! ❤

It’s so interesting to see a new side of Costco. A lot of it looks like it’s for big restaurants, but I feel like some of it would be very useful for people that might run a daycare or a preschool or even a private school. I worked at a private preschool/kindergarten for a bit and we definitely went through our fair share of chicken nuggets and fish sticks!

I'm just like you in the sense I love office/school supplies even though, like you, I don't need them. And you know Lauren, I have been like this since I was a little girl, I loved when we went shopping for school supplies, and to this day I love those kinds of things. I don't know what it is that I find so intriguing about different pens, pencils, post it notes, notebooks either, but I just love all of it, I have never before heard of a Costco /business Center, so this has been very interesting to watch.
