@@jessiebessie92 I'm not sure... I've never used it before but I know baby oil will work. If mineral oil has similar viscosity to baby oil it should work just fine, but I'd look it up to be sure
@@abigailyohman1969yes, although I've seen cool ones done with both, if you want appearance of something floating on top of water. Saw one with part (blue) water / part mineral oil,(which is clear) which appeared Jesus inside is walking on the water... Mineral oil alone works great!! or add part distilled water (colored if desired).. to make sky/ water illusion.. items ie, fish, small boat, etc, can be anchored with fishing line to the base, at different lengths, to appear to be floating or swimming... Fun! 💗
Hey, I've been messing around with making my own snowglobes as well and my bottle brush trees keep seeping the green into the water and clouding them, any advice on that?
Haha I swear every craft channel I watch is talking about the bigger snow globes and then every single one of them add way too much snow. Great minds think a like! Baby oil is a better idea. Water will turn icky.
@@kimzacharias9940 I found the directions for you, let me know if you can’t get into them but I just thought it was easier than me adding it on here because it’s something you could get into and save and clip yourself you know so you have it. By the way if you can’t find the globes at the dollar store, hobby lobby also has them lacountylibrary.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/ActivityIdea_Kids_Ages5_DIYSnowGlobe.pdf
Gosh 👩🦰 women you speak👄 to load and so quick🙉 my poor 👂 Ears if you go and speak in to deaf ear for sure there hearing will come back mow you have brand new job 😉
If you use something like baby oil or any other type of clear oil it works a little better 🙂
Is it a combo of oil and water or all baby oil?
@@seabreeze7378 just oil, oil and water don't mix so you'll have all the oil sitting at the top of the water that you've put in the globe
Will mineral oil work?
