Snakes teeth are very sharp. A material that can resist needle penetration is rare. Seems to me you are perhaps over optimistic. Lets see some needle tests on it.
Have you tested these with snakes? lol The Sea to Summit Quagmire Gaiters are only 8 ounce canvas. Roughly how would yours compare in thickness of canvas, would they be 16 ounce canvas?

Seems like a great product, as i will die if a snake bite my shoe laces,lol But that test done with the snake catcher is not convincing at all as we see a snake sitting in his hands like a pet then bitting the gaiters on his hands but we don't see the fangs as he open it mouth and made it bite. Him and by seeing blood on the gaiters he says that it may broke a tooth, can you please do a test similar to milking a snake in a jar toped with rubber, but instead the rubber put the gaiters on so we can see the fangs if it goes through or not as well let the snake handler show us the fangs as he his making the snake bite it. What do I need in a gaiter to be snake proof?
It's a bit frustrating as most gaiter advertisements don't give much in the way of product specs like as you said, canvas thickness.
