Just got a new C270, looks like they are now using super glue (CA) to lock the ring in place, can't get the ring to turn no matter how much I scrap away at any glue - so may be a C270 is not a good choice anymore
That is not good news if they changed glue types. The one I did had something that looked like a small blob of hot glue holding it. Broke off with just a knife scraping at it.
