im a bit late to this series and im sure someone's pointed it out by now, but there actually IS a death beacon. its a setting you can turn on and off
A great idea would be beating a map without duplicate dinos idk if it's even doable tho. Maybe on a much higher difficulty value
The Bronto so massive, it swings its tail. the base is cleared, and some sleepy berries we claim.
Man Flintstoned the bronto and didn't even yell "Yabba dabba doo" 😢

there are no dodoos on the herbivore island. There are: Parasaurs, Brontos, Pts, Phiomias, Stegos, a pelargornis or 2 , ankys, ichys, mantas, megalodon, tribobites, the odd angelerfish, basilos. I even have a alpha tuso near.
I feel like if you get rid of the sail on the boat things can get on better

No real reason to move off the raft base, imo. Keep that as your mobile work house and just store the dino's on the island.
Not a bad shout honestly! Might need to invest in a motorboat though at some point.......

Tip - try building some kind of ramp onto the raft to make it easier for dinos to get on and off of it.

You should avoid using admin commands in a "Challenge" series, kinda takes away from the challenge of completing a task in 100 days. As you stated, this is a race against the clock. Deaths in Ark and body recovery are a big part of the time sink, so completely negating that aspect of the game with commands is a little cheap imo.
I just stumbled upon your videos and look forward to seeing it through, I hope the above issue is a one time thing.

I don't know what command was used, just that either a teleport or some kind of fly/god mode was enabled to return to herbivore island. There are several things throughout the video that prove you didn't swim back after that death. Full health/food/water after an almost impossibly long swim on the base 100 Stamina. No additional death markers on the map from your "several attempts due to sharks". Still on the same day and only 6 hours later (Ark time) in your next death clip 10+ minutes later. @@Rampy
Sorry for the long comment, but I truly think the following constructive criticism is worth a read. Feel free to delete this comment thread after reading it, my goal isn't to call you out or embarrass you, it is to help you make better content that I would enjoy watching even more.
When I click on a challenge video, it is to see how the youtuber overcomes the many difficulties the game offers. Difficulties like recovering a hard to retrieve body after a death. These events give the youtuber the opportunity to show off their gamer skills, or their deep knowledge of game mechanics, or personality to stay calm under pressure. Is he going to charge in over and over for an hour without crafting any items just stubbornly attempting to retrieve his corpse? Is he going to stay calm and say I have an hour to get that bag before it despawns, I could craft new tools/armor/raft in under 10 minutes and save myself from an hour of frustrating deaths attempting to get back to where I was. Is he going to use some game mechanic that I didn't know about and really impress me so I stay engaged with his content?
These are the things that I hope to see when I click on a challenge video, this is what I hope to learn about the RUclipsr that I just found out about and decide whether or not to Subscribe to see more of them. And running into something that would be extremely challenging for any player to overcome gives you the opportunity to show these things to your audience, the things they came to see and be impressed by. If you skip over that challenging aspect of the game, the viewers miss the chance to really get draw into the content.
You may think "no one wants to watch me die 20 times, that'd be boring". But that's not necessarily true for the reasons mentioned above. Sure there is a limit, but atleast show your first 3-5 attempts at the challenge then say "You guys don't want to see me suffer anymore, I'll bring you back when I succeed". This still saves you the time of repeating the action dozens of times on camera, but doesn't take away the viewers' chance to learn about you as a RUclipsr. @@Rampy
