I alway fill up 5 liter containers with water and put in 2 drops of prime with a dropper and let the water sit a few days before i use it. I notice my aquarium water is foamy at the top after i use it. Is that normal?

There are a few reasons why your water might be foaming, sometimes people report seeing it when adding chemicals or medications, so the Prime might be causing some of that. Are you seeing it in the container or after you add the treated water to the tank?

Prime works with both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, it's dosed exactly the same for either type! What kind of saltwater fish do you keep?

Thank u for replying back I’m new to the saltwater hobby and just added fish yesterday to my 15 gallon tank and I used some test strips from Amazon and says my nitrate and nitrate levels are high and I don’t want my new fish to die. Help!

Can I add it directly to the tank?

Seachem themselves say it's better if it's added to the new water first, but do say it can be used directly. You'll want to dose based on the size of the entire tank. Many people who use hoses that attach to a sink to remove and replace water will generally dose the tank itself with Prime right before the water is put back in.

I change my gold fish tank to 50% after that, the fish start dying and also got fungus. Will it work in this?

This is not a medication and will not fix a crashed nitrogen cycle on it's own, which sounds like a possibility here. It will temporarily detoxify up to 1 ppm of ammonia per dose, but can be dosed up to 5 times the normal strength in an emergency. Changing too much water at once can sometimes disrupt the cycle, which in turn can leave the fish susceptible to illness. If the cycle has not crashed, sometimes the change in parameters from too large a water change will shock the fish. You'll need to test you water and get your parameters before doing anything else so you know what's going on with your cycle, and get a separate medication that treats fungal infections.

Frequency for high nitrite and nitrate. Dose everyday, weekly monthly. Can’t find anything online for how long does it detoxify the nitrite or nitrite

@@kristalpaull188 Safe is more for dechlorinating or emergency/quick maintenance and should not be used daily, we advise following the manufacturer's instructions on the products for most affective dosing. The best way to tackle pesky high nitrite and nitrate would be to do a water change
