- In this video I travel to Koh Lipe, and I will tell you everything you need to know about beaches, where to stay, how to get there, snorkeling, diving and other activities.
I discuss the three main beaches on Koh Lipe - Sunset Beach, Sunrise Beach, and Pattaya beach; as well as talk about the hotel that I stayed at -Pitiusas resort and hotel; a no frills resort with a private beach.
In the video I include lots of beautiful drone shots of Koh Lipe as well as lots of underwater footage

Oh my! The white sand beaches, beautiful clear waters, wonder sunset watching!! No wonder this is a favorite snorkeling spot. A trip to Thailand might be in order.

now that is some wonderful snorkelling (and some even better diving) to think you can just swim out there from land and see so much sealife including clownfish from the beach - wonderful! I must remember this place next time I head to Thailand thanks for introducing it to me!

You mean for people who don't have a PADI or other certification, right? Yes they do and I met a few people doing it, apparently it's still really good.
Yaaa, for those dont have diving license.... Interesting... Is there still so many dogs here and there around the ialand....

Can you rent snorkels?
Yeah, there's plenty of places on the beach. Most hotels will rent them too. It's pretty cheap as well, like 100 baht an hour
It's much easier to fly into Langkawi
I didn't think of that, good advice. Although there may be some issues having to cross a border and then immediately return
You should have shown your hotel room and the price

Was it worth the price?
@@mickie2412 the room was a bit basic. There was no AC just a fan which I thought was fine but my wife didn't like. The shower only had cold water which again was all you needed IMO. Ordering food or beers at the restaurant would sometimes take ages which was a bit annoying. Basically I'm not that fussy so yeah it was worth it for me. Others might need a bit of a fancier set up to be comfortable
