Lumina is one of those songs where I could simply not find a genre of music to put it in other than Fantasy Music. It's something I enjoy to do a lot which includes Emotional, Celtic and Epic music all in one in the same song.
I think it's one of those songs that sets the perfect mood for inspiration.

Anyone with imagination can literally create an epic story or tale while listening to this soundtrack. Every minutes part of the melody throughout the music depicts every events in the story perfectly.

The title of the song means "Light" in my motherlanguage! And it sounds inspiring, as the first light of a clear day looks.
This song gives me goosebumps, especially when the lady sings. What a voice, it shakes you to the core! Love it!
It sounds sad, but in the same time, it's full of hope.
Everytime I do listen to something like this, to my mind comes a lot of memories that never happened.

@Felicito Maia oh l never said that everyone is born as a human. If you haven't noticed, there are people who do utterly disgusting and most sinful things in this world. Do you think they deserve to be born as humans and lead a life where they could learn to obtain nirvana. No. They are born as animals, from the most foulest cockroach to the mighty lion, They could have had lived as a human. I'm not saying they were always human but they are certainly repaying for their sins. Because in case you haven't noticed the animal world isn't half as civilized as the human world. But l also know that there are worse humans than animals. Therefore human as such are born in their next life as animals. Then to answer your question, No the population growth does not matter in this. This is my belief and what l have been taught; beginning of this world and life is inconceivable since they have neither beginning nor end. That the world was not created once upon a time but the world is constantly being created millions of times every second and that it will always continue to do so
This kind of music is one of few things that is worth living for. I can't say in words how much I love epic music.

This expressly reminds me of something out of The Lord of the Rings. The voice at the beginning could definitely be Elven, and the whispering at the end, those who went before providing encouragement to those still in the battle. Beautiful, powerful, and very cinema-worthy.

Arcadum and the 7 made this song truely memorable for me.

As a person with certain health problems, epic music has been a great part of my rehabilitation. I am a highly imaginative person , and this song just makes my days brighter. I create stories in my head that I wish I could put on paper. Thanks to all the people who produced this type of music. You're helping me ( a very sick person ) get through all the hardships in my life. ❤❤❤

This music used to be associated with a Dungeon Master called “Arcadum”.
He used this song for very specific events in his games.
Unfortunately, he turned out to be a scumbag, so this music feels different when it comes to his old fans.

This reminds me of the song played in Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring after Gandalf falls into shadow with the Belrog. Beautiful, yet somber.
All seven of them played a magical melody that brought her back to life. When she woke up from that lethal sleep...she looked at them. They were still playing looking at her as if they were giving her power to fight back. And she could feel the rush in her veins when every string was pulled...she was gaining strength out of the melody of keys being played. And finally they looked at her and played for the last time. All closed their eyes and she raised to the sky with all her courage. Finally she was free from every boundary of the world. Her seven princes saved her...from that lethal sleep.

If you don't want to the rundown is he manipulated a lot of women emotionally and sexually, while he had a girlfriend that was also manipulated. so many scenes playing on my mind, wishing I lived the fantasy life. I would love my imagination come to life through animation or stories. Sadly, I'm not good at both. But I have a passion for drawing and music like this keeps me motivated and feel alive.

This is absolutely beautiful! That choir sounds so realistic and is hauntingly beautiful. For some reason, this piece reminds me of The Lord of the Rings. :)
It does have a LOTR sound and feel to it. Like the best of Howard Shore mixed in with some Ramin Djawadi or Hans Zimmer for good measure, and yet it blends in so well so as to not sound disjointed at all. I love it!

Swiftly flapping her wings the fairy flew through the forest at such a speed watching everything go by and feeling the wind against her face. That exhilarating feeling of being able to fly again from being caged for so long she rose high, high above the trees up to the clouds just to see how much the world had changed and all around her was beauty that she had long forgotten. A tear forms in her right eye and as it drops it falls like a torpedo to the forest below. The aura of light she had dimmed and was snuffed out long ago began to glow back. She shone so bright that every tribe member had to shield their eyes. She was back and she had so much to see and feel the fresh air again. As the fairy by the name of Lumina flew off into the distance she was never to be seen again. The only thing left of her was the teardrop that was absorbed into the earth and slowly formed a beautiful iridescent purple flower of great power that later became a sacred treasure of the tribe that freed her from he bonds.

There was once a princess who's kingdom had fallen, the lone survivor of the fall. The god's had not meant this to happen, and the human kings had gone to war without the gods' permission as they should have. So as an apology, they gifted her the gift of light and foresight, and they buried the remains of the kingdom under a forest.
As a child, she was terrified, but quickly mastered her gifts and managed to get herself to a local church and sanctuary. Many years later, she was now a young woman. She had never forgotten her roots, not really, but they were all fuzzy and had merely become some faraway dream. One day, she felt the overwhelming urge to escape the orphanage, the bad food, the harsh village and the rules of the world, so she prepared her bags and left to where the wind would guide her.
She finally found herself in an unusual forest, it looked old, yet new. So she wandered around, lost, yet strangely at home, until she found a castle.
It was in ruins, and had been burned badly, but it was gorgeous. She walked and skipped and explore the marvelous place, it was taken over by nature yet it felt much more like home than anywhere she'd ever been. She then found the garden, and remembered. She was a princess, heir to the throne of a once blooming country. She had a younger sister and a loving mother. She had never seen her father much, but he was very doting. Yet one day the city fell under attack, and she was the only free survivor.
Overwhelmed by grief and longing, she fell to her knees and cried violently. Birds sang a disheartened song, and vines, flowers and roots grew around her protectively, shielding her from the world and giving her all the time she needed to cry. She fell asleep after a while, but when she awoke, she felt more alive, more knowledgeable. Like a weight that has kept her from flying had disappeared.
So she slowly walked back to the glorious throne room, the colored windows casting a beautiful rose and gold light over the marble floor and columns. She went up the small staircase leading to the throne her father once used, and sat on it.
No one would give her back her glorious kingdom, and there was no use waiting for the gods to help; they had given her all that she needed to do what she wanted.
So she sat there, and created her own kingdom, the kingdom of plants and magic, of fantastic creatures and deep secrets. It was a kingdom that she would rule.
It was the kingdom of Lumina.
Wow!!! This a beautiful story, and reading it while listening to the music just brought me to tears. I am no queen, but I think I relate to it because she accepted the past and found peace. There's nothing better than being at peace with yourself and with life, and being the queen/king of your own kingdom, of your own life :) You're a talented writer and I would love to read more of your stories :)

I have to say "Thank you" because your music inspired me in so many ways. I'm a roleplayer and a writer and your music accompanied me so many times in the last few years. Either it was a chapter in my story or it was a simple post in my fantasy roleplaygame. Your music helped me to calm down and get my head free from any annoying thoughts. It helped me to stay focused on what i wanted to do and create the perfect atmosphere that was needed to stay in character.

Seriously. Thsi guy is so talented. He needs to write music for movies. Every time I open another video and listen to the music I see pictures in front of my eyes, like a movie. It's crazy! I get ideas, it plays with my emotions. And, I could see the first 3 minutes of this video as a part of Lord of the Rings soundtrack and later the flute and the voice, if we look for one of the excisting movies there the music could go to.

This song gives me some sort of surge and release! It's like my eyes opened wide into this brightness . I held my breath as a magnificent scenery unfolds. My heart yearns for something, and it makes me tear a bit. Something.

She was lost. Alone. But she knew that she was home. Memories flashed before her, she stumbled and fell. Overcome by the pain of remembering it all, she cried. A sob. Then a long, deep wail. Nobody could change the fact that she was destined to be Lumina, keeper of light and memories.
It all started when she was born. A glorious light filled the room. Then, silence. They thought she died- that she was born dead. But she suddenly cried, wanting to be fed right now, right this instant. They ignored her. Nobody wanted her now that they thought she was cursed. Poor her, buried alive before she was an hour old. But every time she was sent below, a beautiful, huge-leafed plant would grow in a second, put her back on the surface, then disappear. It kept happening until they abandoned her deep in the forest, with nothing at all.
Years had passed, she became twelve and celebrated with the light, trees and plants. They taught her everything she needed to know, and more. None of the people who didn’t want her knew that she was alive and weller than anyone. None of them knew that whenever they cut down a tree, she would howl in agony and pain- it would hurt her, too. None of them knew that without her, that if they had succeeded in killing her, they would have been dead now- all of them. For she was Lumina, keeper of light and memories.
Her twelfth birthday gift was a dress- a beautiful, silk dress, all pure white. She loved it. Though it was several sizes too big, she wore the dress every day, all the time. Then one day, she got lost. She was running around and playing with the sunlight, when she fell. But instead of hitting the ground, she passed right through it and kept falling, and landed on some hard rocks, in a cave underground. She felt like she was suffocating, because this was where no light could reach her. “What… what happened? Where am I? What’s… this?” She had never seen fire before, and it seemed beautiful to her- it was a source of light, after all. She reached out to warm herself...
But she found herself suddenly in a demolished castle, and as she looked around… she realised that this was built for her, from the nature she was such good friends with. Suddenly she knew everything that had happened to her since she was born.
“Why…” she sobbed. “Why? WHY?”
This brings us to the scene I started this tale with, where she was overcome by memories, and so, now that she was in the gift nature decided to give her when she grows up, when she understands her truth, that she is Lumina, keeper of light and memories, she wished this never happened.
The castle was in the forest she grew up in, except that it was in a secret place she was never told about. So the light and plants came closer, trying to comfort her… but she wouldn’t budge. Plants grew around her. After hours, it let her go, and her dress had a small sapling growing from it. She smiled.
She grew, her plant grew. Though she knew who she was now, she went back to the happiness she lived in. Her plant is now a beautiful vine, with flowers appearing whenever she is happy. And now, Lumina goes to the castle every day, to thank the light and plants that raised her to who she is now. The people who hated her? They are gone. After becoming evil and merciless, they died, and their remains turned into lovely plants of all kinds. They are now part of the forest.
As for you, my child, you should thank every bit of light you see, every plant you find, because they are gifts from Lumina to the kindhearted and merciful to all. Now sleep, and let her be. Don’t try to find her, or you’ll become a flower like the one on her dress. Sleep, my child, sleep… and let your life and dreams both be filled with beauty and light.
