I've visited Sleepy Hollow in late October for the past 5 or 6 years, and I had the pleasure to attend one of Johnation's performances inside the Old Dutch Church near Halloween. I definitely recommend it.
In a couple of years from now I plan to move to Sleepy Hollow mainly bc I'm such a fan of the tv series and the book and movie that I wanna live there plus I can transfer to the Amazon fulfillment center that's 17 mins away from there

The Hessian soldier who inspired the Headless Horseman in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is thought to have been decapitated during the Battle of White Plains on October 28, 1776. 🎃 Details: The Battle of White Plains took place on the eve of Halloween, eight miles east of Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow 🧭 Event: American General William Heath noted in his journal that a Hessian artillery man was decapitated by a cannonball fired by American troops 🪖 Location: A small placard marks the spot where the Hessian lost his head. 🪧

Saw him do the performance twice at the old Dutch church and once at Washington Irvings house. He is such a great performer

If your on the current bridge, facing the church, the original bridge was to your right. About a block or so up stream
