Most Taiwanese here in California i know would rather date their own and white tall guys, everyone else is below them, from my experience, i remember once flying to Vietnam and we stopped by Taiwan to board the other plane, and some Taiwanese dude sat next to me looking upset, i told him, whats wrong bro? He said "i will never date a Taiwanese girl ever again, they are materialistic and full of themselves" i thought he was joking, but he was dead serious, He went on to tell me his experiences on dating Taiwanese girls in Taiwan and in USA, he had traveled back to Taiwan because his aunts wanted to introduce him to a Taiwanese girl, and after 2 weeks, he had enough, he was happy to go back to USA, I mean I met many Taiwanese girls in the past, most of them are very reserved, but only 15 percent were humble and open minded and simple loving affectionate etc.
My wife is from Taiwan and came to the US in 1994 for university. She is very down to Earth, we've been married for 10 years. Our cultural experiences are different but I look at that as a net positive. She has taught me many things about her culture and shared with me and vice versa. I'm 3rd generation US citizen and a mutt of sorts. So I've started learning mandarin over past years and she's often asked me how to say certain things or vocabulary in English. She's very proficient in English. I just hate the BS we encounter from close minded or racist people like "is she mail order bride". No clowns, she is very successful, makes more than I do, and is 7 years older than me and already US citizen. She didn't marry me for green card or my money. I make decent money, so I just don't understand those people and don't make time for them.
We Asians think less about Latin America. It's because of the distance. Of course, any country in Latin America is a good country. And I hope to go there in the future. If we can move faster than now, we might be able to get along better☺️
Let them know American men such as myself will be patient to talk to them. If they are sweet and true. Us american men will take all the time to talk to them.
