No, this is late Weimar period, early 30's german "Reichswehr". You can see this as the soldiers are still wearing the 1st World War iconic steel helmet "Modell 1916". Hindenburg them was Germany's Reichspräsident, until August 1934. Interesting film clip, very rare indeed. Didn't know something like this still existed somewhere in the film vaults......
And without the Eagle on the Uniform Jackets. Thats Republik of Weimar Time (Reichswehr).

Funny enough! The ones in the army of weimar, the Reichswehr, all hated this shit! Nobody in the Reichswehr wanted to fight for Weimar, they fought for germany - they were nationalists.

Have you seen the German military of today? It's not to be respected one bit, they don't march/goose step like germans anymore because it might be too scary for the enemy, they don't play their marching band too loud anymore for the same reason, it might scare the enemy, it's a cucked country with a cucked military.
@@yeahboi7107 I think Mark was talking about the Reichswehr because they had about 100.000 enlisted men & officers... and if you are not well cultured in the history of 1920s/1930s then this old footage shows the men of the Reichswehr (easily better than the Bundeswehr) parading for president Hindenburg and the people of the better Deutschland.
@@britishpersonwholikesgerma908 I know about that period of history and the restriction on the German military after ww1, I just thought he meant present day because of the way in which he said it. I miss read it, I wish the Germans weren't cucked currently tbh, their helmets are American, they don't even march like Germans, they don't sing the full version of their anthem (it's illegal even though it has nothing to do with nazism neither does the Prussian goose step). I'm part German, my Grandmother is from the former East Germany or Prussia, so I do love German culture, hence why I'm so ashamed of the current state of Germany and it's military (not because of the size restriction just the way in which it has been de-germanised) you might as well call it a puppet American state.
@@yeahboi7107 The Bundeswehr does not practises the goose step out of traditional reasons. It stands in the line of light infantry which never used the goose step.
@@yeahboi7107 Helmets are used for protection and therefore traditional models can and should be updated. I already touched upon the marching in the other comment. The first and second verse of the national anthem are indeed no longer in use but by no means illegal. So please do your research next time and for the state of the German realm please leave this to the German people to decide.

Reichswehr; the 100.000 Men Army of the Versailles Dictat, without any heavy Weapons, was not more than a Palast Guard, but more german, than the Bundeswehr.

I think what he has meant is the old german Heere fought for Germany and not for foreign countries. It was not a Heer of the EU or anything elese, it was the Heer of and for Germany. Today we are fighting for "our" freedom in Afghanistan? It is just a phrase. But there is some truth in it, isn't it?
