Glad you finally included excerpts from distinct separate disciplines. As someone studying Accounting (and seeking continuing scholarship for) this makes the video much more relatable. Thanks again!
Amazing video and very helpful conclusions. I am currently finishing my PS that is oriented to a degree in law and will for sure take advantage of the formulas you have provided!
Hello Doctor Shaene, thank you so much for uploading these, I have just started year 12 and I am certain I will find these useful later on the year!!! I just wanted to ask you as a person who studies at Cambridge how many 9s and 8s do u think a candidate should have as my GCSE grades concern me a bit. Thank you.
Having anything apart from perfect GCSEs (so, all 8s and 9s) might just reduce chances of admission when they look at your grades. But really, asking your teachers and admissions tutors by email is the best way to go about getting an answer to your question.
Thank you Doctor Shaene for sacrificing your time to make all these useful videos. I want to ask do we need to add our personal information (Name, Address, or contact number, etc) on the top of the personal statement? Or do you have any template of personal statement that you can recommend for Oxford grad school? Thank you 🙏
Amazing video! Subscribed! I have a question about Work experience. I'm applying this year for Medicine Due to COVID is wasn't able to get work experience. But I have Online virtual work experiences such as ObserveGP, BSMS Virtual Work Experience, and I'm doing volunteering in Science at school this year. I might also apply for some leadership at school this year. Could you tell me if that's enough for work experience for a competitive application? Also I have played volleyball for 2 years ( from 2016 - 2018 ), so can I also put that into my application? And one last thing is that I can speak 5 languages fluently so does that benefit me for a boost in my application and selection?
Some tips here are also good to apply when you are having a job interview! This helped me in several ways! Thank you!
You really clutched up with the timing on this one.. thanks for the useful vid
