  • On January 25, 2024, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Administrator Bill Nelson, NASA Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy, and NASA Associate Administrator James Free participated in a Public Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. They were present for NASA’s Day of Remembrance, which is held to honor the memory of those men and women who lost their lives in the pursuit of exploration and discovery. As part of the ceremony, wreaths were laid at memorials and gravesites as a tribute to their sacrifices.
