What a bust of a signing
I loved how I got a Sharks fan to put an extra $50 in my Salvation Army kettle in November 2012...
It was four words I yelled in praise of Murray's firing as our coach... They were "THE CUP IS OURS!!!!"
That was when the Sharks fan bet $50 the first chance he saw me after the playoffs were over... He put it in the kettle... Plus...I was the top ringer for our Clark County Command by $50.50 over the second best ringer...
All you can hope for is for PLD to have a monster season and sucker a GM desperate enough to sign a player like him. Every sharks fans thought EK65’s contract was untradeable because of his subpar play, then he had a monster season and Pittsburgh for some reason thought it was a great idea to trade a 1st for him. Sharks haven’t even cashed in on the return and the Pens are already looking to move him. Good luck fellas

Kings ownership has decided that Rob and Luc’s feelings are more important than the Kings becoming a middle of the pack team for the next 10 years. Beyond disappointing.
Knoblach may have said that about the Kings pk. But every Kings fan with half a brain definitely said that. The passive nature works for some teams but it won’t work against elite talent.

I don’t know if he is ready at center. May be ready to be a left winger who takes some face offs and starts to drift into the center role over time. I don’t think he is far away from being a team carrying player.
His next step is being the dominant player all season without getting into slumps and not wearing out by game 70. I don’t blame him at this point because he had such an awkward entry into the league having to play so many incomplete seasons.
Made no sense to sign this guy since we're stacked in centers. I thought since Blake was a former player he would know about chemistry in the locker room.
If they are untradeable as is then things get very simple. Players that are untradeable for LA- PLD, Doughty = 19.5M cap hit for 4 more years. I would be a terrible GM. That being said I’d buyout PLD and trade doughty keeping 2.5M per max. A team would value doughty at 8.5M
If you can’t trade before his nmc kicks in, you probably have to buy out.
Only 8 nations have ever won world cup in futbol. Tournament is played every 4 years and the national team is made up of players from different clubs who come together to play for their nation. I would say winning world cup is the hardest accomplishment. In North American sports, yes, stanley Cup is by far the most difficult, possibly ahead of world series title.
Was wondering Eddie. In the past you used to read a lot of comments on fridays from various sources, including the RUclips comments.
During the season you began respondin to more emails than anything else. Now it is exclusively emails. I get it. A lot to report on and not a lot of time.
With the summer approaching and more time, do you have any plans to include more comments from other platforms on fridays or will it remain emails?

Blake is going with the ship type attitude. To stick it out with a trade that has already shown and relinquished less than. He's probably thinking it's 50/50 and could go good or bad of that trade within the next year. Not even measuring that how that 50 percent passes it's weight throughout it's ups or downs and on who. Probably thinking we'll next year PLD can maybe be done. So I'm going to push for what I paid for and hope for the best. Nope, no buyout, standing my ground plus I stated it, didn't I. If not, oh well. Won't be around for that pan out. Would I?
From the get go, I've sensed this wish washiness on transparency. And it always begins with a slight stutter. Well, well, well I don't see it that way. Trading Moore is a good idea….his value right now is super high and probably won’t be higher.
Nobody will change my mind, which is PLD was a total flop mouse of a player. No heart, integrity, nor desire. The man at age 26 would rather do something else with his life and spend a trainload of cash. Not only does he not play effectively, he inhibits and can’t lift up his own line mates or teammates.
