There’s no reason they wouldn’t, Sasha and digweed have moved with the times and progressed unlike a lot of others I could mention, plus the kids theses days have parents maybe like your self who have exposed them to great music growing up,
Yep, the first time I saw Sasha play live was 23 years ago, the last time probably 10 years ago when I finished with clubbing, but still appreciate great melodic house music done well. There are only a handful of guys in the world with the full house of abilities behind the decks, he's one. Also Alex has stayed relevant by constantly adapting his sound, unlike all his peers from the 90s, who are now stuck playing piano house classics at throwback events for a dozen people who need to get home for the babysitter. Imagine working at Mixmag btw, hundred pages of fashion adverts and generic reviews cobbled together on the fly and then straight on the sauce, journos dream job!
I seen them together in Memphis tn I seen Sasha twice after that once in Tampa fl and another time In south beach Miami they put on good great show together and Sasha puts on a great show by his self
I'm 24 and I've been getting really into classic Sasha and, generally, prog house of the 90s. Do wish I could have gone to one of those legendary all-night sets at Renaissance in Mansfield. I didn't start out being into the classic stuff. I was getting really into prog house and trance of today--Shingo Nakamura, stuff from Anjunadeep, etc. But I'm the type who always wants to know the roots of my music, and I found myself drawn back into the past, to the foundation of the progressive house sound from the 90s. Discovering Sasha was inevitable from that exploration because he's a legend. Synonymous with that movement, he's omnipresent in any online mention of that time, place, and style of music. He's revered. Mixmag called him "the son of God." I wish I could find a high-quality recording of one of his sets from back in the day, but those seem to be lost to time. At least we have Renaissance: the Mix Collection and the Global Underground CDs--and judging by this video, he hasn't remotely lost his touch.
Hard to imagine that this man came from the same small city in North Wales as myself. I would have been in school in the late 80s when he was there; doubtless we'd have passed each other in the high street, at that time completely unaware that he'd help change the essence of DJing, and that, thirty five years later, I'd still be listening to him.
Sasha: not a fad or a fashion, not the zeitgeist or trend, not a limelight seeker. An innovator, the benchmark and the most musically gifted DJ that will ever be. To remain at the very top for so many decades whilst always pushing his craft forward are the hallmarks of a genius! Long live Sasha ❤
Watching Sasha DJ is like watching Brazil play football. This is a joyful masterclass from someone who supersedes trends and fashions and has been consistent for decades. This was the come-back Lab we all needed right now and Sasha’s smiles throughout tell you everything you need to know about what it meant to him.

It is the first time I encounter a set that has no flaws to my ears. How can somebody give me so much happiness and just for free.
This set is like when your child gets his favorite toy back and the world around him ends or becomes one with it. Seeing this childlike joy on Sasha’s face, I’ve never seen it like this before. I hope we can see and hear for a long time to come! Legend!

As I like cooking to music or anything I do,I'll have a music backdrop. Straight to tube to see any new mixes. Sasha pops up,I click and well... 25 mins in on the set now and I've been transported to a bygone era. Northern exposure days... that feeling, fuck man. This is it...
Sasha's music and Sasha himself just never gets outdated, he's not following the current trends, but still his music and he's mixes are always a joy to listen.
LEGEND. THIS GUY SOMETIMES MAKES SOME SETS THAT ARE THE BEST EVER. Remember Essential Mix Classis Session Sasha two decades ago, one of the best set ever
Saw this man play in a giant washing machine at Notting-Hill carnival in '98, not long after a summer living in France zoning out to the epic Northern Exposure collection... still listening to him play/produce now... What a leg'!
There's just something about Sasha's sets and the journey he takes you on. I've spoken to so many people that have said his DJ sets whether live, or on CD or wherever have literally changed their lives... absolutely a legend of music.
Had the pleasure of seeing Sasha many times from '90 onwards. Always incredibly innovative sets - that period saw him dropping Balearic beats and mixing dubs of MJ's 'Wanna be Starting Something' into the breakbeat/early rave style popular in the north of England's more techno/hardcore oriented clubs like The Orbit. He was making and breaking the rules right from the word go. Legend.
That ONR track is magic. Even more played where it is in the set - Sasha is the best at turning an amazing track into something breathtaking by how he plays it.
este tipo siempre esta vigente, cuando crees que ya escuchaste todo, el sale con algo nuevo y te vuelve loco. sin dudas de los mejores djs de la historia
what a set this was. Watching this on 140MG THC gummies and was blown away. The man like is having so much fun to play for this small crowd. Can't wait to see him with Digweed in NY
@@davidhughes1825 he's talking as if we've never listened to music sober...LIKE WE KNOW...IF WE WANT TO GET HIGH IT'S NONE OF YA FUCKING BUSINESS TO SHIT ON

Love, love, love listening to Sasha, he takes you on a journey like no other & is absolutely flawless in his mixing. This guy is the very, very best in the business, i've listened to and been at many gigs from day 1, i'm 48 in 2 weeks.
I know time has moved on and so has music and I appreciate this and I liked this Sasha mix but to me I cannot forget the old 1989,1990,1991,1992 mixes from Shellys and The Eclipse and that 1992 Universe Pleasure Planet set.. Wow
I’ve listened to ‘The Man’ since the nineties, watched him at Space Ibiza alongside Zabiela when he said to me quality eyes due to me looking like a panda, I had got jumped, further on the journey I’ve danced to him at Kelly’s Portrush N.I. and Shine Belfast. All of the above have been legendary sets full of emotion and beats of the time. However, Sasha looks like a teenager again playing his craft and it shows he is enjoying it as much. A set here to give a new audience alongside us stall-warts the feeling that he is here to stay. Keep it up Sasha , you have an ear and a touch unlike few others.
Nobody better when it comes to this kind of deep, euphoric mix. Sasha is my favorite DJ of all time. Saw him live a few times in San Francisco in the late ‘90s.

I love to see a performer up there smiling and generally having a blast. The joy of music.
I've already commented on this mix but feel the need to make a further comment. simply one of the best mixes out there. Utterly beautiful 😍
It's literally the best I've heard in years, lots of years.
sasha is a legend. You need to listen to this with headpones in
love sasha been listening to him for over 20 years regularly great set happy to seem him happy
Im 40 right now and thats my music. Legendary progressive beat, rave parties and madness Ibiza in early 2000s are in my memories and my heart forever.
I've played this set all day on repeat.
LOL... Play on dude!
Still relevant in the modern times of prog house... Knows what tracks to play and keep it real
This is the best set I’ve heard him play
There's just something about Sasha's sets and the journey he takes you on. I've spoken to so many people that have said his DJ sets whether live, or on CD or wherever have literally changed their lives... absolutely a legend of music.
Never seen Sasha as happy as this. A revolutionary mix
He's feeling it. Knows it's good.
Wow! Sasha is incredible -- musical genius.
This is exactly why we love electronic music. Imagine a world without this.
Followed Sasha for 30+ years. Never disappoints. That drop 30:22 is just soooooooo Sasha 😊👍🏻. Standard
looking fwd to it!
One of his best I think
este tipo siempre esta vigente, cuando crees que ya escuchaste todo, el sale con algo nuevo y te vuelve loco. sin dudas de los mejores djs de la historia
technics leyenda , Sasha leyenda, Cattaneo leyenda, Digweed leyenda...... ...
The master of the emotion on his face that runs through his mixing and tracks he plays x
lol yeah, He rightfully kinda lost it at peak time. haha
Awesome!!! From seeing him at venue 44 nearly 30 years ago till now.Must go and listen to him live at some point soon. 😊
Never seen Sasha so interactive with the crowd, amazing set, good vibe, the guys a legend pure genius
what a set this was. Watching this on 140MG THC gummies and was blown away. The man like is having so much fun to play for this small crowd. Can't wait to see him with Digweed in NY
You shouldn’t need ANYTHING to appreciate good music mate, if it appeals to you, your brain will let you know
@@mapuppa no fucking shit sherlock..
@@tigarson4955 I agree mate, typical nannie state mentality that's prevalent atm 🙄
@@mapuppa what pal ? old mate can do what he wants - your condensing and at odds with the whole vibe
@@davidhughes1825 he's talking as if we've never listened to music sober...LIKE WE KNOW...IF WE WANT TO GET HIGH IT'S NONE OF YA FUCKING BUSINESS TO SHIT ON
Seen this man perform so many times and every time he seems to bring the raw nature of what it means to be a DJ and how to move a room. This guy always brings the heat.
The track selection & mixing in this is just insane. Big up Sasha.
Fantastic to see u enjoy the set 😀
Love, love, love listening to Sasha, he takes you on a journey like no other & is absolutely flawless in his mixing. This guy is the very, very best in the business, i've listened to and been at many gigs from day 1, i'm 48 in 2 weeks.
Total legend. The talent, the musicality, the humility, the joy. Sasha. I will love this guy forever.
This set brings back memories... it sounds a lot like Sasha's late 90's material, but it also has hints of Nick Warren's style in the program.
I know time has moved on and so has music and I appreciate this and I liked this Sasha mix but to me I cannot forget the old 1989,1990,1991,1992 mixes from Shellys and The Eclipse and that 1992 Universe Pleasure Planet set.. Wow
I’ve listened to
‘The Man’ since the nineties, watched him at Space Ibiza alongside Zabiela when he said to me quality eyes due to me looking like a panda, I had got jumped, further on the journey I’ve danced to him at Kelly’s Portrush N.I. and Shine Belfast.
Have to reiterate ‘Legend’ ! !
Nobody better when it comes to this kind of deep, euphoric mix. Sasha is my favorite DJ of all time. Saw him live a few times in San Francisco in the late ‘90s.
Great inspiration to my musical journey over the last 35 years. Nice to see you smiling Sasha. Great to see you back with a amazing set.
Sasha such a humble guy
Does it for the love of music
Same as Digweed
Not big headed either of them
Peace Love Unity Dance
In all the times I have seen him live, I have never ever seen Sasha bouncing around so happy 😊
good to see Sasha so happy playing live again !
AS LONG AS guys like SASHA are around. DANCE MUSIC IS SAFE... AMAZING!!!!!!!
I love Sasha
Over 50, early 90's Liquid Groove'r from Atlanta here, Sasha was, is, and always will be the master!
The smiles and good energy in that room are infectious. And of course the mix is flawless, as you'd expect.
Except for this bit, ruclips.net/video/wbU9P2DcKFs/видео.html, but otherwise all good :)
