If you can’t afford a track, like myself, Bora makes a really nice edge guide that turns your circular saw into a low end track saw. I personally have the Bora NGX. Retail on it is $200, but I bought mine on an Amazon sale for $132. It’s a fantastic alternative to a real track saw.

Good afternoon Steve et al! I am also an injured Vet that suffers from physical as well as mental injuries but I'm on ly 54 and from Canada so I suppose that excludes me from this offer. I would love a Kreg Track Saw as wood working and home renos are my form of therapy. There's nothing better than getting into a shop and creating something 🙂. That said, Veterans Affairs Canada has taken really good care of my needs and as such, I would like to cast my vote for you to receive this awesome tool. Thank you for your service and I pray you get the help you need. God bless!

Seems to be a lot of us that are using woodworking as therapy from our service. I also have ptsd, and individually unemployable through the VA, so woodworking is one of the few things I can actually do. Good bless you guys, keep a it, we earned it.

Oh my! A track saw would absolutely make life a lot less burdensome. As a hobby woodworker I’m constantly being asked to build things out of plywood for my elderly widowed neighbors. A track saw would surely make me able to give back even more of my time and talents. Thanks for giving back.

Steve, I'm nobody special- just a lady trying to follow in her dad's footsteps. He passed away 2 years ago and left me some of his tools. The best memories I have of my childhood are the times I got to sit in his workshop and watch. He taught me a lot- but by the time he passed, he had 3 or 4 years of Alzheimers and Dementia. I was able to salvage a few things- but most got rusty and eventually unusable. I have an old corded Skil saw- but watching you zip through plywood with that track saw - not to mention it making awesome straight cuts- makes me wish I had an updated track saw to help in my journey. Like I said- nobody special- I am grateful that I have a full time job, but 6 kids and a mortgage takes it all. Frankly, it kills me to put my name in the hat because there are so many far worse off than me. That said- the only way I'll ever get one is to win it or find someone giving one away. BTW. congrats on 10,000. That's a hell of an accomplishment and you should be proud!

Hi, good afternoon! I just and subscribed to your channel! I have a small woodshop. Over the past couple of years, I have made and donated items to several schools in the area. A couple of potato/onion boxes for an Ag program to auction off as a fund raiser. I have made 19 pencil box projects for students with special needs to build as Christmas presents for theirs parents. I have been asked to host a craft project at a three day summer camp coming up. I will be cutting the pieces for the project, about 35 students who have never been to a camp, also school related. It was so cool to watch and hear those students taping with the small hammers. I am retired and this is a great way to give back now, and introducing kids to woodworking. So, please consider this post, I am a big user of Kreg tools. Have a great day and thank you

Me and my husband would love the track saw so we can build our cabinets/furniture for our house. We recently were able to get a house that really isn’t able to be lived in at the moment. (We literally live in one bedroom at my grandmothers house at the moment Bc it’s that bad😂). It’s what we could afford. A house is a house. It was a hoarder house and the roof is leaking bad. Bathroom has mold and really nothing left of it. No kitchen cabinets. House was built in the 80s. Track saw would be a nice start to getting all the tools we need for this project and into my house that I’ve had for almost a year now and haven’t lived in yet 🤣 I do really enjoy ur videos though. Very good at explaining everything. Love that u link all the tools in the description. Keep it up 😁👍🏻

I’m not sure what criteria you are using to choose your winner, so here goes. I, like several others I’ve seen on here, am a disabled combat veteran who’s life has been greatly improved by finding woodworking. I came to it late in life, only about three years ago, when I made a cutting board through an outing set up by Wounded Warriors. Little did I know that little multicolored cutting board would change my life, as it gave me something to do, something to keep my hands busy, which kept my mind busy. I’m 4 1/2 years clean of using substances to self medicate the pain and mental anguish that my service as a combat medic put me through, and in about 2 weeks it will have been six years since I checked myself into the hospital and was barely saved from addiction and the myriad of things I had done to myself.
To be clear, I don’t feel I “deserve” this saw any more than many of the other people commenting, and I apologize if it sounds like I’m shamelessly plugging my service as an attempt to one up anyone else. I only list it because that’s my path to woodworking, not why I need this saw more. Good luck to everyone, and I truly hope that whomever is chosen as the winner of this giveaway gets a lot of good use out of the setup.
And lastly, as if this wasn’t already long enough, thank YOU for even giving us the chance to win this saw! I understand why people play the lottery, because your mind comes alive with thoughts of all the what-ifs should you win…and my mind already has a place picked out to not only use this saw, but even where I’m going to store it!

Aside from the obvious breaking down sheet goods. I would use the track saw for a plethora of house projects. the one i am most excited about is turning 3” thick oak slabs i chainsaw milled three and half years ago into a 9’ dining table for my family. i made a practice table a couple years ago out of southern yellow pine and a track saw would have helped immensely cut the table down to final dimensions as well as trim breadboard ends after the table acclimated to house. the oak is finally dry and ready.

I need a tracksaw because my shop is 11x21 and breaking down plywood in that space is rough. And it’s easier then firing up the table saw when I’m able to woodwork between shifts at the police department, because that’s usually when my kids are sleeping. I’d love to be considered.

Great videos. Congrats on the 10K subscribers. I’ve been slowly acquiring tools in my shop. For the most part I still cut most pieces with a level clamped down to plywood and a hand held circular saw. This would be an awesome addition and help me become a better woodworker. Details and accuracy are everything in the process. As you have previously stated, if the tools are setup correctly and square your cabinets will be square. Thanks again for your hard work on these videos.

Congrats on your milestone viewership. I just started watching because I saw your cabinet video & really liked your way of building....not real complicated, I appreciate that. I've been using angle iron and clamps to break my sheet goods down & that's kinda' rough on the ol' body. Anyway, I enjoy your chanel, stay true to your style...that's why you got 10,000 subscribers.

Awesome! Congrats on the subs. Loved the cabinet work, that's where you got my sub. Breaking down sheet goods mostly, plunge cuts (router lift, etc) and the occasional steep angle cut.

Love you channel mate. It is helping to keep me motivated as I start to build my workshop. I only have the base so far but hey my plan is big.. All I have is a hand held corless skill saw at the moment and after giving it much thought I know I wont have room for a table saw in the workshop. (small) and as the build is so expensive I have to save and build in chunks.... A track saw is what I need Dude..No more hand held wobbly cuts and would be awesome to try as I have never had one. Not sure whats going to pan-out after I manage to fund the workshop build but I will just have to build the whole thing including tools as I can.. My ambition is to build the workshop and share my journey and future projects on RUclips. We gotta start somewhere..right. Honestly, seeing how you have grown from the start is truly an inspiration and total motivator to get there one day. Subbed? Yeah of course Dude. Stay Subbed..Of course it's part of my drive to strive.. Stay safe Dude... Chris.

Wow, thats awesome. Congratulations! A track saw would be such a benefit because I work out of a garage that we still have to use as a garage. So, I can't justify a anything that takes up a lot of space. Just a great tool to get nice, accurate, and safe cuts!

I am 69 years young and have been watching your videos when I can. It has inspired me to build. I have been doing woodworking with what I say primitive tools, which sometimes cutting straight is a real challenge. I look at track saws and it’s pricing are a little out of my pocket. I enjoy making things and I give my projects away to family and friends who would appreciate a well built piece for their home. So with that being said, I pray that you will see it in your heart to allow me to have such a beautiful piece of equipment to add to my still growing hobby.

Id use a fancy track saw to learn better and teach others how to do big ol projects themselves! Woodworking is dying and we need to be spreading and sharing our knowledge with as many people as possible! Ive showed my froends and family different tools and tricks, so im doing the best I can with what I have. Good luck on the drawing!

I’d love the track saw because the clamp on straight I use now is a pain in the butt and time consuming. I’ve been making wood working project as a side hustle and I could really use the upgrade. I’ve been a subscriber for at least a couple months and really enjoy your energy and content.

Congratulations on reaching 10K+ subscribers. You asked us to leave a comment for a chance to receive your Kreg track saw. I am in the process of reworking my woodworking shop. Woodworking is just a hobby for me but one I enjoy a great deal. At 77, I can no longer get down on the floor to break down sheets of plywood. I have been using the Kreg work mates, and foam as a backer for my cuts. A Kreg Track Saw would be a game changer for me and allow me to make accurate cuts at a height I can manage. Thanks for considering my comment.

A track saw would be awesome. If I want to cut down a sheet of plywood into manageable pieces (and still be clean and accurate), I usually clamp a straight edge to use as a guide for my circular saw. It's tedious, and not real easy with thinner plywood. Track saw!! Woo-hoo!!
