I have been playing for 4 months. Started with wood, then a 40 dollar Niupipo (I like it), but since I come from a ping pong background I wanted something that generated more spin and bought the Hyperion. I have used it for two days and my serves are much better and have lots of spin. I am also starting to embrace the longer handle as it acts like a whip and adds more spin and power. Yes, I could have stepped up to a 100 dollar paddle and then a 150 etc. but figured with all the good reviews I might as well bite the bullet and just get a really good one. So far I am very happy with it.
I think you might have the specs of the Joola vision as opposed to the Hyperion. The Hyperion is 8.4 average weight and 7.5 wide. I have this paddle and have been playing with it for roughly a month. You’re review is spot on. A little bit less power is kind of a benefit, keeps some balls in the court but like you said, control and spin are epic. Great review, great RUclips channel👍🏽.
Maybe start adding the warranty period and what you have to do to make a warranty claim. Also, these a VERY head heavy so suggest people get the lightest one they can find. (I use one.)
Please review the Paddletek Tempest Wave Pro. I keep hearing good things, but it's surprisingly hard to find reviews. I'd also be curious to see how the Joola Solaire compares to the Hyperion.
I think this one is better for control if you don’t need the paddle to add power like he said, the engage on the other had does not even come close with its level of control.
How about reviewing the new Selkirk power paddle , specifically the new power epic . I prefer the larger sweet spot. Very good review, I thoroughly enjoyed it
Misspoke* 16mm not 14mm 👍

Great review - I’m considering purchasing this and comparing it to diadem warrior i currently play with
Been waiting... Thank you. Now, about that conpirasy theory from the USPA tournament where CRBN was effected. :)

Please review the new crbn 14 mm paddle or one of the gruvn.
Both are coming soon!
Can you review the joola method?
Just bought 16mm. It say average weight is 8.4 oz. Mine is 8.0 oz. Off by a lot.
Tested gruvn paddles yet?
Working on the video on Gruvns currently. Hopefully have out in 2 weeks or so 👍
@@PickleballJourney nice. They have the gruvn raw 16x dropping on the 21st of November. Handle length between the E and H.
Have you guys tried the new Vanguard Power Air paddles from Selkirk?
Yes- very good paddle. Review coming soon.
Check our Instagram for a brief review/comparison to the 003
Do you like it better than Pursuit MX 6.0?
Pursuit EX 6.0 is still my favorite. It has more power which I like.
True, but engage wears down much quicker than the CFS in my experience.
I have 2 I switch playing between over the last year and seems to hold fine. But I’ve heard that from some others

14mm? Isn’t it 16mm?
You are correct- misspoke here!

Chris Olson did a solid review of the Power Air earlier this week ruclips.net/video/1gkkyeeoJCw/видео.html
Yes 👍 review should be finished by next week. Needed sufficient play time with the paddle. It’s a great stick!
I've always thought, if you ask someone to review something, you should provide them with said unit to be reviewed.
specs are WRONG
