I really enjoyed viewing this film today. Dr Dempsey was my doctor, who even made house calls! Thank you very much for putting it all together, a really treat!

Loved watching this with the daughter. So lucky we have access to our history, to understand whose shoulders we are standing upon.

Janet Dempsey was my first teacher in Cornwall, sixth grade at the former CHHS building. What a sweetheart she was! I recognize many of the names and places, even though we only lived in C-on-H for nine years - they were important years for me. Although Black Thursday, the day of the stock market crash that led to the Great Depression was in October of 1929, these folks must not have felt the worst of the disaster, as they look healthy and prosperous. I wonder how many of these folks I saw as ancient men marching in parades on the Fourth of July, and Memorial Day alongside us as Boy Scouts?

Dear Jan, I just wanted to thank you so much for publishing this old video. I found it so charming and wonderful and could not believe my eyes at 25:40 when my grandfather James R. Bevans appeared on the screen. I secretly was hoping on the remote chance that I might see him. My mother Theresa A. Bevans spoke so highly of her father my whole life. He passed in 1960 before I was born. What joy you have brought to me! I cannot wait to share with my siblings. How could I find more of these treasures? My great grandfather was Patrick Bevans, who lived in Cornwall even before then. Thank you!
