He told the pilots they either went back to the table to talk or he would get rid of them all. Sure the airport will be paralyzed for awhille but he will get it back up, he will train and find new pilots and when the airport goes back in operation, he will make sure none of them are in it. All the pilots went back, talks resumed, and crisis averted.
These workers have been without a binding collective agreement since January 2024. It's an unfortunate situation for union workers & management. I would think this has impacted morale all around.
