hi thanks for being so informative, but just one thing i find the background music should be a little bit quieter it’s hard to focus on your voice as it’s almost the same volume :)
so i've been Reading every year since 2016 and every year i hear from others and see how much better the night time and the thursday is at leeds why do you think they don't do more at Reading? i think it was 2017 they had a smirnoff house stage which was better than everyone just standing out the front of a ride dancing to the ride tunes 😂
I’ve only ever been leeds but I’ve heard that Reading festival is too close to houses or a town so they can’t play music too loud theoufh the night. At leeds music doesnt stop until 6/7am
Cause Reading is in a residential area they have to stick to having just the silent disco as Leeds is in the middle of bum fuck nowhere. I’ve done both and would recommend Leeds if you want a harder sesh and Reading if you’re more chilled and want an Instagramable time
Super useful video, loved it! This year is my first time going to Reading and I haven't got early bird sadly. What time would you say I'd need to arrive on Thursday?
For a second I thought this was going to be a PG video looking for a RNL retweet. I think Sundays fires can still be bad, the year after the foos walking back to the station around 4am felt like a bit of a warzone with tent fires left right and central 😂…. If your over 25 I’d say you need to get guest or eco or perhaps white…. In terms of toilets I’d say save your dump for the arena at opening!
I’m going to Leeds this year with a couple mates, but I’m going in with my mate n his dad, would I need any sort of ID? I’ve just turned 17 but I’d imagine I wouldn’t if I’m going in with my mates dad
@@trxpxxadam if your with your friends dad then you’ll be okay because children go in, i was 16 last year and went without an adult and didn’t get id then
what time do you recommend getting there to get a good spot at the front for the headline artist? i don’t mind waiting at the front for them to come out
Same q from me. I just want to see Billie Eilish and I don’t want to be very far from the front at all. Do I need to wait through several hours of other acts’ music to get a prime spot?
yes!!!! i would defo recommend going a few acts early if you want to get a good spot. last year for arctic monkeys, some people were waiting in the front section from the first act of the day, then moved to the very front a few acts before. hope that helps xx @@danielkoschalka3955
have lived in Reading for over 40yrs and have attended the festival numerous times, my advise would be take some water proofs , good weather is not a given! plastic bags to go over your trainers are good as especially if the weather is bad it can turn into a swamp which inturn will turn your tent into a palace of poo!!!
I had a decent time last year and I went on my own, but I think that was only because I joined a group of friendly people. I heard stories of people being absolute knobheads and it would've ruined it for me. Even the campsites nearer the arena I didn't get friendly vibes. Not going back this year because the lineup isn't great, but maybe in the future.
Nice to hear this and of course yes you'll have quilts at every collection of humans but as you discovered it's only a very small number of people who are affected by such selfish people, best wishes 🙏

Your missing out if you are going there simply for the sound quality, I encourage you to give it a try and you'll understand why I'm commenting to you. Best wishes 🙏
It was incredibly rainy this year, was one of the worst experiences but I'm definitely going back in 2025 if the lineup is good lol
Going this year solo coming from Canada first ever festival so excited
Coming in from Australia to Reading. Really looking forward to it! :)

Where can we watch Steve Lacy's concert?

Walk around until you find a spot with good sound, usually behind a bank of speakers.
