Jonathan Stout is a national living treasure for his knowledge of historic music. Great player too. Thanks for this great recording. His RUclips channel is "campusfive"
Had a chance to exchange few emails with him about this video. Thanks for sharing his RUclips channel info. Glad you enjoyed the show... I think we all enjoyed.

This is absolutely fantastic music and the guitar playing is exceptional along with the other band members. I love listening to Django Reinhardt kind of music with a swing in it and I do understand how complex it is to play this type of music. I could never play this as a blues guitarist as the fingering and the jazz would be way too complex for me and that is why I appreciate it so much
Awesome to see Jonathan play outside of the Swing dance scene! BTW, he can also dance(at around 4 minutes, but I wouldn't want you to miss his guitar solo before that): ruclips.net/video/BMemSfpqySE/видео.html
The worst/best I ever say was the Jerry Garcia band at Washington University Auditorium (or whatever it's called) - after every phrase Jerry Played the audience would hoot and holler, they were all on their feet dancing to the music the whole time - it was something to see!
One of the greatest living guitarist
Django the founding father of my European Jazz ! (yours sincerely)

Amazing. Sounds like George Van Eps when he was young..

I hear say he plays drums too? His playing seems infused with the timing of a drummer combined with the elegance of a dancer.
Fantastic music and annoying clapping after each single solo phrase. Wish that would stop being a thing you "need to do".
jazz fans be like that. agree, it's annoying...

Clapping is very distractive......to the great musicians
