Jonathan Stout is a national living treasure for his knowledge of historic music. Great player too. Thanks for this great recording. His RUclips channel is "campusfive"

Amazing. Sounds like George Van Eps when he was young..

This is absolutely fantastic music and the guitar playing is exceptional along with the other band members. I love listening to Django Reinhardt kind of music with a swing in it and I do understand how complex it is to play this type of music. I could never play this as a blues guitarist as the fingering and the jazz would be way too complex for me and that is why I appreciate it so much

Awesome to see Jonathan play outside of the Swing dance scene!
BTW, he can also dance(at around 4 minutes, but I wouldn't want you to miss his guitar solo before that):

I hear say he plays drums too? His playing seems infused with the timing of a drummer combined with the elegance of a dancer.

Fantastic music and annoying clapping after each single solo phrase. Wish that would stop being a thing you "need to do".

The worst/best I ever say was the Jerry Garcia band at Washington University Auditorium (or whatever it's called) - after every phrase Jerry Played the audience would hoot and holler, they were all on their feet dancing to the music the whole time - it was something to see!

Clapping is very distractive......to the great musicians
