This Ex Christian now muslim must be a very uneducated Christian before he became an uneducated muslim. Many of those who studied the bible in depth would have some unanswered questions, and found there are things that didn't fit. This man is saying that King David and other prophets were the Messiah ( Masiach) because they were anointed. But these were anointed with olive oil. No, the Quran was written and memorized by the prophet companions during his lifetime...and they just collected it after his death... And MANY (now millions) Muslims memorize the Quran word by word since then. They even wrote the ahadith (prophet sayings), how he behaved, and many details about his life let alone the Quran.

Here is why the lineage of Ishmael could never be used even though he is the first of Abraham's children to be circumcised.
The covenant is established, through Issac, by a seed, who has to be circumcised, on the eighth day, after his birth, as Issac was.
Ishmael was circumcised at thirteen. He nor his lineage can qualify.
This is made plain through the fact that Abraham had six (6) other sons; who were all circumcised on the eighth day after their birth, yet God did not choose to use anyone from their lineages as brethren to the people of Israel.
God scattered the people of Israel. He did not completely reject them. In fact, he left a remnant in the land.
He promised to save them by keeping safe a remnant.

no the 4 gospels aren't eyewitness accounts. and none of them have extant manuscripts going back to the lifetime of prophet Jesus. imagine muslims saying "we have eyewitness accounts about prophet Muhammad" but the best thing they have is something that was written decades after him. noone would believe that. but for some reason when it's the 4 gospels christians turn a blind eye. emotions are clouding their judgment. this person also didn't follow the arguments most of the time (had to ask several times what the argument is, brought up irrelevant points, etc).
No, the Quran was written and memorized by the prophet companions during his lifetime...and they just collected it after his death... And MANY (now millions) Muslims memorize the Quran word by word since then. They even wrote the ahadith (prophet sayings), how he behaved, and many details about his life let alone the Quran.
