Really this season's writing just took a dip , screenplay was weak , gore and vfx was spectacular sometimes uneccesary but overall the whole stretched story of 10 hours ended up being back to square one , Kaleen Bhaiya is again on the reign , Guddu and Golu are on the loose again and a pinch of cliffhanger from Maqbool . Really a mid season with lackluster and losing grip it used to have with plot elements .

This series got bad in last season. They introduced too many characters. Golu and the twin brothers were the mainly responsible for taking down the series Plus Munna Bhaiya’s character was always fun to watch. He had most powerful dialogues.
What went wrong in S3- 1. 4 Years wait- expectations were set of a standard like S2 which people expected to be maintained at least but wanted more because of the 4 seasons. Also, now the though S4 will come at least 2 years later isn't satisfying. 2. No Void filling of the legendary dead characters. Eg- Munna bhaiya filled the void of Bablu Pandit in S2, but Sharad couldn't fill the void with respect to the screen presence. 3. Sharad Shukla- did a good job with acting, but did not have a major impact, maybe a more vibrant actor would do justice to the character and make it legendary (just my opinion) 4. Golu- I'm not anti-women, but the bhaukal factor which in S1 and S2 characters had pulled, watching her it just felt like she is trying to pull, however it was a part of her act which is commendable, but nah I'm sorry gutka thuk rahi hai choti si, UP accent me dialogues felt like she's trying hard (I know it's her act and she did good, but I'm blaming the character here not actor) + Extra screen presence 5. Felt like S3 was being set up as a foundation for S4 from epsiode 1 itself, S3 itself didn't itself had any outcome. 6. Pankaj Tripathi- less screen time 7- Vijay Verma's character- not so exciting, also felt like stretched. 8. No legendary dialogues/ abuses- although no unnecessary abuses were there which felt natural, but that essence of Mirzapur was slightly missing. 9. Episode 1 cringe- with these references- gaddi, loyalty, system, bhokal, etc. 10. Madhuri Yadav CM- Chief minister post ka mazak bana ke rakha hai, kuch bhi ho raha hai + not suitable as a CM character.
The story did not have as much going forward. In season 2 we had, lala with his daughter and Guddu, Guddu taking revenge, Munna and Kaleen bhaiya start having problems among themselves. They all were doing something actively which made it interesting but here man everyone is just moving from one to another and nothing else. Although it can be seen that it is a correct continuation to the previous season but it's not that fun. Especially the Bare Tyagi part.

Okay but there were multiple sublots but they all led to nowhere. 1) An opium business starts, where does it end? Nowhere. Rauf lala’s daughter loses faith in Guddu’s handling of her father’s business and leaves him. What is the resolution? Just a wastwd subplot, all we saw was unneccessary scenes like Guddu playing cards in Nepal 2) Guddu’s father court case- Again another incomplete subplot. What is the final outcome of the court hearing of Ramakant pandit? Does he goes of jail? And if not, how does he save himself? 3) Golu got kidnapped. What happened to the kidnapper? Nothing. Golu just fled from the scene. Her father’s death was a total waste. Did the kidnapper get punished? No. There is no outcome, we are simply back to square 1 where all characters started from 4) They wanted Guddu in jail but now he has come back out In short every character is back to square 1 where we all started from. Kaleen Bhaiya still alive. Basically Mirzapur this season revolves around characters trying to do things to each other but everyone fails…
I have not seen this show till date. From the beginning, I thought this show was overrated. This show is running because of the forced hype of the public.
I really liked the powerplay between the thrones...moreover it was a kind of spinoff concluding the story of madhuri, sharad and tyagis so 3/5 for me. And btw i binge watched enjoyed it.....inshort maza aa gya politics dekh kar atleast DARK se to easy hi samajhna😂

I liked the Season 03 It Sometimes felt like this Season was Made Throughout the last 3 Years and the Length of the Show Reminds that again and again that These Characters had lived as much as the Timeline Gap of Season 2 and 3 Release Year I binged the Series and it felt throughout that the Show has Changed a Lot the USPs i.e Violence, Gore, Sox had a Dip down from Season 01 Now I think its a Dilemma for the Creators of the Show itself to maintain the Same A Rated Stuff throughout every season as Controversies with the Show has never Slowed even after the Tone-Down from Season 1 to Season 2 The Characters Got Way Well Explained Arcs their Development was Good, those who were not bearable in Season 2 were Well Placed here Some Character Relationships were Straight up confusing and I was like what was the Need to do this Music was Exceptionally Well The BGM the Songs everything At times there are Potential You'll be left in a State of Shock by How some Plot twist, reveals and How Sudden Deaths may happen I hope they don't drag it much more and they End it in the Next Season with Complete Closure as Not Many Watchable Character are alive.
Bhai this show deserves the fourth show, because you can't rush the story to end the show like they did to GOT. I like the slow pace of the show and all the politics evolved around Gadi...
I think the 4th season would be the last one, or atleast it should be. But for those who like political dramas, this can turn out to be a deep gripping drama for them. For those who like absolute carnage that we all were expecting, I think should wait for the last season. It was like the writer-director took 2 steps back to make a huge jump in the last season storywise. I'm still hopeful the last season would be a banger and would cater to all our expectations.

For people who are saying it's boring, every good political show that is more politically leaned has an eye candy to keep the audiences hooked, GoT had dragons and s€x scenes but for Mirzapur it is the gory violence which at a certain point in this season really makes you feel uncomfortable and that is Great feeling it is sprinkled through out the show.. This season really had to tell the story of its other characters in this world and it does it well, Season 1 and 2 mein Bablu aur Munna ke character ko kaafi zyada flesh out kiya gaya tha ki baki characters phike lag rahe the. this season highlights the flaws of Guddu pandit who even though has power but no claim to it, shows him battling his issues by the end and commits a mistake that he can never get away from, This season is the Rise and Downfall of certain characters caught in collateral of politics, The Throne is definitely for the wise, Brave and bold, Guddu pandit just learns that through a lesson, Also to add There is a clear distinction between Mafia and a Gangster, Kaleen bhaiya is Mafia and Guddu pandit a gangster;The next season will show his rise and evolution from gangster to a mafia and his ultimate face off with kaleen bhaiya. The series is only for those who love Mafia movies, This is a slow burn Scorsese esque desi series, so yeah have patience.

Few problems with season 3.. 1) underutilizes guddu. 2) over utilizes golu 3) headache inducing vijay varma’s chhote vs bade bs (varma is definitely a great actor but this character is shit) 4) lastly, they need to find something which can make us forget munna bhaiya’s character. Guddu is there but man this season did him so bad. And golu’s character is irritating as hell now.

This is an extraordinary to the point review. I watched 10 episodes in one sitting and I know the struggle. It holds on the grisp but loses it at the same time and kind of gets annoying but at the end you would still want to watch what happens next
Never understood the hype for this series anyway... I watched 1st 2 episodes of first season few years ago... Never liked it. I thought it wasn't my cup of tea and now i realize people were just watching it because of the memes that were popular from the series
The first season was really entertaining. There were many loopholes in the script but it succeeded in what it intended to do. But the second season was shit and i don't have much expectations with the third one either.
season 1 was very good be it the writing, screenplay or the acting, surely season 3 has taken a dip no doubt audience from elite circles (not mocking you just a thought) would find it a over exaggerated abusive and full of gore series, so they think it to be cringe but before 2017 (yogi govt) especially the purvanchal area, it was like that on a similar scale so in season 1 they captured it fairly accurate, that's how the gang wars were in past days
While S3 didn't have that binge watch factor to keep me engaged and finish the show in one go, it was far from bad. Though one thing everyone can agree with is that Munna is sorely missed!
This season's decline is because the original writers of Mirzapur (Karan Anshuman, Puneet Krishna, and Vineet Krishna) didn't write it. Also, Robin was a missed opportunity; he could have been meme-worthy, and his humor had a dedicated fan base.
Unnecessary things in season 3 1. Golu confrontation with local gangster in episode 1 where she is acting like judge 2. Guddu scene of playing cards in Nepal 3. Too much time given to jail scenes including Lala, Ramakant, that poet and many more small characters. 4. Tyagi got lot of screenplay nd it is uselss bcoz he couldn't complete his task nd at some point it became frustrating. 5. Zarina arc was stretched as well.. Couldn't add significant to the story 6. Killing of Saloni Tyagi 7. Unnecessary same crap of Tyagi acting like a Nibba so many times bcz we already know Golu is not going to be killed 8. Bacstory of killer that was hired to kill Guddu in the beginning. He couldn't do a damn thing to Guddu then why to hype so much character of him unnecessary for 15 minutes 9. Even after so much hearing of Ramakant case....his story was not concluded. A season coming after 3 years couldn't even complete a side characters story?? 10. And there are innumerable small useless scenes which didn't add a damn thing to the story. Apart from useless scene.....this season is full of plotholes. Some things are too stupid to digest. This show is known for smart and witty writing but this gave a vibe like KGF 2 where Rocky enters parliament with gun and here in Mirzapur a local goon Known as Guddu Bhaiya is challenging Chief Minister and he is doing so while illegally occupying CM's sasural.
Shan you are wrong this time. Binge watched all 10 episodes in one day. Phenomenal writing, direction and of-course acting. Game of thrones level writing and direction. As good as season 1. This maturity was needed because none of the characters are school going kids anymore. They have all become hardened criminals. Just my 2 cents.

I watched seasons 1 and 2 when I didn't overthink anything, I didn't know anything about propaganda and subtle manipulation in the entertainment industry. I was just a school kid. Now, that I'm a little bit more mature and know some politics and propaganda pushing, I'm realizing and noticing these things in movies and web series. With that perspective, Mirzapur also falls in the category. You can notice that All bad characters and immoral ones are shown as Upper caste Hindus (Tripathi, Pandit, etc..) and loyal, caring, family lovers are all "PEACEFUL" community people (Maqbool, Lala, etc..) These things are subtly pushed in many of the Bollywood movies, All the antagonist are with Tika, Mala, Saying Har Har Mahadev, and all...

Okay but there were multiple sublots but they all led to nowhere.
1) An opium business starts, where does it end? Nowhere. Rauf lala’s daughter loses faith in Guddu’s handling of her father’s business and leaves him. What is the resolution? Just a wastwd subplot, all we saw was unneccessary scenes like Guddu playing cards in Nepal
2) Guddu’s father court case- Again another incomplete subplot. What is the final outcome of the court hearing of Ramakant pandit? Does he goes of jail? And if not, how does he save himself?
3) Golu got kidnapped. What happened to the kidnapper? Nothing. Golu just fled from the scene. Her father’s death was a total waste. Did the kidnapper get punished? No. There is no outcome, we are simply back to square 1 where all characters started from
4) They wanted Guddu in jail but now he has come back out
In short every character is back to square 1 where we all started from. Kaleen Bhaiya still alive. Basically Mirzapur this season revolves around characters trying to do things to each other but everyone fails…

I really liked the powerplay between the thrones...moreover it was a kind of spinoff concluding the story of madhuri, sharad and tyagis so 3/5 for me.

It Sometimes felt like this Season was Made Throughout the last 3 Years and the Length of the Show Reminds that again and again that These Characters had lived as much as the Timeline Gap of Season 2 and 3 Release Year
I binged the Series and it felt throughout that the Show has Changed a Lot the USPs i.e Violence, Gore, Sox had a Dip down from Season 01
Now I think its a Dilemma for the Creators of the Show itself to maintain the Same A Rated Stuff throughout every season as Controversies with the Show has never Slowed even after the Tone-Down from Season 1 to Season 2
The Characters Got Way Well Explained Arcs their Development was Good, those who were not bearable in Season 2 were Well Placed here
Some Character Relationships were Straight up confusing and I was like what was the Need to do this
Music was Exceptionally Well The BGM the Songs everything
At times there are Potential You'll be left in a State of Shock by How some Plot twist, reveals and How Sudden Deaths may happen
I hope they don't drag it much more and they End it in the Next Season with Complete Closure as Not Many Watchable Character are alive.

I think the 4th season would be the last one, or atleast it should be. But for those who like political dramas, this can turn out to be a deep gripping drama for them. For those who like absolute carnage that we all were expecting, I think should wait for the last season. It was like the writer-director took 2 steps back to make a huge jump in the last season storywise. I'm still hopeful the last season would be a banger and would cater to all our expectations.

For people who are saying it's boring, every good political show that is more politically leaned has an eye candy to keep the audiences hooked, GoT had dragons and s€x scenes but for Mirzapur it is the gory violence which at a certain point in this season really makes you feel uncomfortable and that is Great feeling it is sprinkled through out the show.. This season really had to tell the story of its other characters in this world and it does it well, Season 1 and 2 mein Bablu aur Munna ke character ko kaafi zyada flesh out kiya gaya tha ki baki characters phike lag rahe the. this season highlights the flaws of Guddu pandit who even though has power but no claim to it, shows him battling his issues by the end and commits a mistake that he can never get away from, This season is the Rise and Downfall of certain characters caught in collateral of politics, The Throne is definitely for the wise, Brave and bold, Guddu pandit just learns that through a lesson, Also to add There is a clear distinction between Mafia and a Gangster, Kaleen bhaiya is Mafia and Guddu pandit a gangster;The next season will show his rise and evolution from gangster to a mafia and his ultimate face off with kaleen bhaiya. The series is only for those who love Mafia movies, This is a slow burn Scorsese esque desi series, so yeah have patience.

I think these review guys just don't like new seasons of any web series, whenever any new season comes they want the season to have a x factor, which is not possible always, and indian web series audience has to develop patience, like we see american audience have for english series, those series were running for tens of years .

Few problems with season 3..
1) underutilizes guddu.
2) over utilizes golu
3) headache inducing vijay varma’s chhote vs bade bs (varma is definitely a great actor but this character is shit)
4) lastly, they need to find something which can make us forget munna bhaiya’s character. Guddu is there but man this season did him so bad. And golu’s character is irritating as hell now.

This is an extraordinary to the point review. I watched 10 episodes in one sitting and I know the struggle. It holds on the grisp but loses it at the same time and kind of gets annoying but at the end you would still want to watch what happens next

The first season was really entertaining. There were many loopholes in the script but it succeeded in what it intended to do. But the second season was shit and i don't have much expectations with the third one either.

4. Tyagi got lot of screenplay nd it is uselss bcoz he couldn't complete his task nd at some point it became frustrating.
5. Zarina arc was stretched as well.. Couldn't add significant to the story
6. Killing of Saloni Tyagi
7. Unnecessary same crap of Tyagi acting like a Nibba so many times bcz we already know Golu is not going to be killed
8. Bacstory of killer that was hired to kill Guddu in the beginning. He couldn't do a damn thing to Guddu then why to hype so much character of him unnecessary for 15 minutes
9. Even after so much hearing of Ramakant case....his story was not concluded. A season coming after 3 years couldn't even complete a side characters story??
10. And there are innumerable small useless scenes which didn't add a damn thing to the story.
Apart from useless scene.....this season is full of plotholes. Some things are too stupid to digest. This show is known for smart and witty writing but this gave a vibe like KGF 2 where Rocky enters parliament with gun and here in Mirzapur a local goon Known as Guddu Bhaiya is challenging Chief Minister and he is doing so while illegally occupying CM's sasural.

Shan you are wrong this time. Binge watched all 10 episodes in one day. Phenomenal writing, direction and of-course acting. Game of thrones level writing and direction. As good as season 1. This maturity was needed because none of the characters are school going kids anymore. They have all become hardened criminals. Just my 2 cents.

I watched seasons 1 and 2 when I didn't overthink anything, I didn't know anything about propaganda and subtle manipulation in the entertainment industry. I was just a school kid.
Now, that I'm a little bit more mature and know some politics and propaganda pushing, I'm realizing and noticing these things in movies and web series.
With that perspective, Mirzapur also falls in the category.
You can notice that All bad characters and immoral ones are shown as Upper caste Hindus (Tripathi, Pandit, etc..)
and loyal, caring, family lovers are all "PEACEFUL" community people (Maqbool, Lala, etc..)
These things are subtly pushed in many of the Bollywood movies, All the antagonist are with Tika, Mala, Saying Har Har Mahadev, and all...
