Great speaker build. I build the same speakers last year, fantastic speaker, it ended my speaker searching (although the speaker building bug has bitten again and I have a Troels Quattro MKII kit laying around waiting to be build). Currently driving them with a Marantz PM6006 (+ bluesound node + rega dac). Currently building a Firstwatt M2 amp and Nutube B1 pre to replace the Marantz. Happy listening.
@@joeygonzo They are both very good, recently Troels released the Scanspeak 3WC MKII with updated design and better tweeters, I would build that one or the Faital 3WC
Impressive sound indeed. I think that you could get even more with a different amplification. I see a power consumption max of only 155W for the PM6005. Double that and you will have more drive in the bass. I like Nad and british amps in general. The speakers seem excellent. Great work indeed. Congratulations.
Hello, congratulations are very beautiful and, judging from the video, they also feel very good! I'm about to realize the same project, I'm a bit undecided on SBAcoustics drives (with deeper bass but less sensitivity) and ScanSpeak. It would be my first DIY project, so I wanted to understand if the realization is within my reach. In the kit are more details on the assembly of the boxes or on the assembly of the crossovers? Thanks, Alessandro
I've made for my own use Seas 3WC mkII from Troels as well. They looks like twin brother of yours but in black and I am happy from them.

Very nice! As I see you chose different drivers than T's original design. Could you please share which mid drivers did you pick?
It’s the old version of discovery 3w Classic 2017, no more on T’s site
amazing sound! thanks for new video!)))
This is scan speak discovery, project by troels gravesen ;)
Looks awesome!
Can you compare it to brand speaker model?
