    28,054 actual miles! Same owner the last 53 years! He purchased it 12-21-67. We have a copy of the hand written title from 1967. We also have a folder of miscellaneous maintenance records over the years. Very well preserved survivor.
    EXTERIOR: I love the unique color on this car. It's also loaded up with a bunch of accessory trim. The body is in outstanding condition. No signs of body work, rust or bubbles. It is absolutely straight and everything fits precisely. The paint still shows very well, it is believed to be mostly original with some touch up work. The dealers sticker is still on the trunk. Look at all chrome in front! It has a big grill, bumper guard, hood ornament, spears on top of the fenders, headlight bezels etc. On each side it has stainless moldings down the sides, on the rockers, on top of the doors etc. It also has optional door edge gaurds, door handle gaurds, fuel door trim and stone shields on the rear quarters. In back it has optional reverse lights and bumper guard. The chrome is straight but showing age. The stainless is still exceptionally nice. It has a power convertible top. It's white and it still shows well. The door jambs are clean, the rubber still soft. There are aome very old oil change stickers. The original windshield is still crystal clear and it has a city sticker from 1976. The rims are the same color as the car, it has full size hubcaps and wide white wall tires.
    INTERIOR: It is very nice inside. The upholstery and door panels are in excellent condition. The carpets have been replaced. The dash area is really, really nice shape. All the chrome trim, gauges, lenses, knobs heater control panel, original radio and even the steering wheel are beautiful. The visors, kick panels, window cranks are all very nice.
    ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very clean and proper. Original paint on the firewall is very clean. The motor was neatly repainted. In 2002 the fuel pump, belts and hoses were replaced. It was tuned up and carb rebuilt. It runs like a swiss watch. It has an optional oil filter. The battery is new.

    Jay always does a great job with his commentary.... Clear, concise, and detailed descriptions of exterior, interior, trunk, engine, and chassis. A significant issue is that the video does not always match his descriptions and in this case we never did see the seats or much of the interior at all.

    • @VoloMuseumAutoSales
      @VoloMuseumAutoSales  3 года назад

      I went and looked at the project, there was no note to insert a shot of the seats, must have felt Jay didn't really talk about them much in this one.

    One of my favorite years but that drivetrain combination ran the quarter mile in about 2 minutes. In this car the manual transmission was a better choice.

    Another winner and it has the original six. Are there any performance parts for this engine and didn't the first year Corvette come with a high-output six?

    It is illegal to have a car without seat belts in Canada. I see that some of the vehicles you have for sale didn't come with them and aren't retrofitted. Is the law different in the US?

    • @Nebulasecura
      @Nebulasecura 3 года назад

      In the United States, if your car is older than at least 1981 it is exempt from seat belt requirements due to the vintage/classic car identification

    • @VoloMuseumAutoSales
      @VoloMuseumAutoSales  3 года назад +2

      Seat belt laws can vary from state to state in the US for classic cars. One of our most common requests from potential buyers is to add seat belts.

    • @VoloMuseumAutoSales
      @VoloMuseumAutoSales  3 года назад +1

      @@Nebulasecura This may not be the case in every state in the US. Every state has their own seat belt laws and exemptions.
