Jessica, I know you had a lot of roadblocks on plans this year, but man did you hit the high points! Kilimanjaro and getting married, you do't get much of a better year than that. Thank you for letting us in on a little more of your amazing journey.

What an epic journey! I'm exhausted, and my eyes are full of tears. To think that you actually survived a trek like that. That you also managed to get some beautiful shots of nature is incredible. I’ve found the REI house brand to be a consistently good value. Bought an REI brand backpack, which has been excellent. Durable, light, full of features. Agree that buying lightly used gear is a good approach.
