Who else is mad about John crushing the output jack with the weight of the guitar? 😅
That's a pretty build however 😁
Lol tell me about it! I should have used a strap! Thank you.
Its very nice.......i built one years ago I'm almost inspired to have another go....
Thank you! You should!!
You are a wonderful creator. Thank you for the ASMR sounds during the episode and pls don't disappear on us
Thank you! I won’t 😎
You have come a very long way from your first piece!
Always glad to walk the journey with you. Thanks for sharing your process with us.
Thank you! It’s been an interesting journey so far and I am looking forward to where it takes me.
Absolutely beautiful guitar. Love that headstock and logo. Fabulous job.

Congratulations!! A very fine looking guitar - the overall form and natural finish make the wood really come to life.
Thank you very much!
Great job John,sounds well too!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎😎
Thanks Alan. That means a lot.
Really enjoyed watching this series John. Congrats on a great outcome, lovely guitar.
Thank you very much
Beautiful man, just stunning.
Thank you so much
Very nice work John, I particularly like the way you did the neck and headstock, and the sound from the neck pup is excellent - I may have to get me some of those for my next build!
Thankyou! Yes that neck pickup sounds amazing doesn’t it. The bridge one is good but not as good in my opinion
Great job - it looks fantastic! I really enjoyed this build series :)
Thank you so much!
Great job John, look's cool, have a nice day !!!.🎸🎸🎸🎶🎶.

Nice work. The quality of your work is outstanding. Would be great to hear it played by a axe master. As a note. I checked out your website. You have make some truly stunning creations. Be well and be safe.
Thank you so much! I do plan on asking someone who can play to try it out but with COVID this hasn’t been possible yet. You too!
Well done, this looks great! 👍

Thank you
Absolutely stunning John! You’ll be in the invitationals next year! 😉👌🏼
Thank you! That is highly unlikely but I appreciate it
Great build John and brilliant video edit. I'm taking inspiration from yourself and others. Looking forward to seeing more from you soon. It's been a while. Hope all is well your end 🤘
Thanks. Glad you found it good. I moved house and havent had chance to setup new workshop yet. will be back later in the year
@@JohnClothier That's good to hear. Hope setting up your new workshop goes well. All the best mate
@@afterlifeguitars Thanks
John, looks and sounds great. The headstock is really lush and I love the way the different laminates reveal themselves along the side of neck. Great job, really enjoyed watching your whole build. I did wince at you balancing the guitar on your poor jack lead though 😆
Thank you so much. I was very pleased with how the different woods all worked out on the neck. I know, the poor lead! Luckily it was just an old one.
a little bit suprised by the bolt on neck in a les paul(ish) style guitar however the finish is beautiful, wish you the best of luck
Why is that? A great many Les Paul style guitars I have seen have bolt on necks. My reason is that it’s a lot easier to remove if the neck needs shimming for its angle. As I am quite inexperienced with luthiery I like to keep that option open lol. Thank you!
@@JohnClothier in terms on removable you are completely right, this is the real benefit, on more time congrats for the great job and sharing with all the community, wish you the best of luck
Thank you very much
Outstanding job! I forgot to ask last time if this were actually going to be entered in the real guitar build off competition?
Thank you! I entered the competition but not the main invitational competition
@@JohnClothier all the very best luck in the category you chose then, John. I have enjoyed this build series. Thanks you ever so much.
Thank you! There is very stiff competition so I don’t expect to do well. It’s not the reason for my entry. I’m just pleased to be a part of it
