I have such a low tolerance for action films but this one catches you quick and doesn't let go. Also it has some really smart dialog and plenty of funny moments. Ryan Gosling even brings some poignancy to his character in an unexpected way (re: the vet clinic scene where he discusses why he went to jail with Armas' character)
