rlly amazing show, it looks kinda dated by now, but the art style was so iconic, gorgeous neo noir colour pallet, bright lights popping against darkness visually very stunning in its slightly uncanniness, such a nostalgic look, no much of it takes place in the dark i really cant get it out of my head even after nearly 20 years lmao, the theme even perfectly encapsulates the feelings of the show, very high octane mysterious and tense, even tho its just a kids show ig, it was just a feast for the eyes

Across the Spiderverse gave us SpiderMan Unlimited, Insomniac SpiderMan, and our boy the Spectacular SpiderMan Beyond the Spiderverse really should give this SpiderMan some Spotlight... he more than deserves it

It's cause this was one of the only spider man shows that was actually dark and involve really depressing events,not including movies, (and yes I know other Spider-Man shows can be considered dark but they always had a humorous tone) but in this one you can see Parker fall apart all the way through until he makes his final mistake even if he didn't mean it

they stopped it cos it was a continuation to Spider-Man 1, so if they didn't stop it Spider-Man 2 and 3 could not be created
