love this video!! i saw a few videos surrounding commonplace notebooks, and i really wanted to try and do one, but i never knew how to start. this video gave me a good push, so thank you for that 💓
I found this video really helpful. I'm journaling in an A5 Hobonichi HON but was worried some of the days I might not have enough room to write out all my thoughts. I had never thought of a common place notebook. Now i can do my long form journaling and all the other random stuff my mind does in there! Thank you!
OH MY WORD. This is the *first* video I’ve watched that has made me realize a common place book is basically a paper version of the notes app on my phone. This is great. I’ve been wondering for ages what exactly a commonplace book is, but turns out I already knew. 😂 While I’m here, thank you SO MUCH for making this video. I was planning to do the A6 because it’s smaller, but last night I started actually considering the cousin, and you have just confirmed its the direction I need to go in. As someone with hardcore ADHD, a lot of what you have said really resonates with me - especially when it comes to recording the good things. “Out of sight, out of mind” is a VERY real struggle for me, and I think that actually taking the time to sit down and write about them may actually help them stick a bit more in my memory. Now if I can just manage to focus enough to *sit myself down* to do the writing, I’ll be golden. Actually, I think maybe treating it like IT is the distraction might actually work. Here’s to playing mind games on ourselves! 😂👌🏼 TL;DR I’m glad to have found someone I can relate to on RUclips in this world full of normies. THANK YOU, and have my sub. 🤗
Thank you so much for the kind words!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and got clarity on what type of book to get! Cousin gang all the way 😄 Love the mind games with yourself too, lol - sometimes, we've gotta mess with our brains to get stuff done 😂
If you hotglue some elastic to a binder clip you'll have a pen loop the perfect size for any pen you have for really cheap and a binder clip on you at all times which is really handy.
I did a deep drive into setting up a commonplace book over the summer, reviewing lots of videos and written research (including all the way back to John Locke.) Now I am down the rabbit hole with my first mega Weeks and a Cousin! Can't wait to see your future videos. 🎉
I have tried to sit through so many people’s videos of what they write in their journals and / or hobonichis and / or planners and this is one of those rare times that I didn’t skip past all the ‘unnecessary‘ banter or lose focus on what was being said. You are somehow very relatable. Especially those moments where you say you didn’t for whatever reason fill in a section. I do that ALL THE TIME! And I hate backtracking too. I currently have the five year diary and I have written down everything that has happened to me this year. Unfortunately most of it is on my ipad rather than on the diary itself because I only think about it when I’m already lying in bed lol! So yeah, very relatable. Well done anyway on this, your first video. I have subscribed.
for some reason this video started for me 4.30 mins in where you're like " a notebook, a muffin, and unidentified bird, what's not to love." immediately subscribed hahaha
I purchased a midori A5 notebook and I kind of want to do something like a commonplace journal in it! I mainly wanted to record specific events/memories I want to remember. I also recently (impulsively) got the canon selphy cp1500 to print photos and stick them in my journal. I have a hobonichi cousin and would like to do that in there too but I also wanted to use the daily pages for some productivity like to do lists, but also for daily journaling/gratitude. I’m excited! Can’t wait to watch your commonplace video
Oh that's so exciting!! Commonplace journalling is so much fun :) what are your thoughts on the selphy? I currently just use a desk printer for my photos but I've been considering getting a dedicated photo printer! Thanks for watching and for the kind words :)
@@ellesbooks I just ordered it so I don’t have it yet. Quite an impulse buy haha I caved in because it’s on sale. I considered the canon ivy or hp sprocket but those are Zink printers so the print quality isn’t as good. I saw someone print multiple photos in one sheet using the selphy and liked it a lot. Tbh my desk printer worked just as well too. I guess it’s just more for convenience and better print quality.
Hello! I'm audhd and was diagnosed in my 40s so I can relate to a lot of what you said here! I also love journaling and planners and I also love commonplacing--been commonplacing since I was a kid and didn't know there was a term for it haha. Excited to binge all your videos ❤
Ahhhh so glad to have you here! And so glad you enjoyed the video 🥰 Honestly, learning that commonplacing had an actual word was mindblowing to me hahaha
Congratulations on your 1st RUclips video! I loved the details on how you plan your journal, especially the habits and gratitude lists. Negativity is so difficult to dispel, focusing on the positive is something I’d like to practice more of. The book entries are PERFECT🥰. P.S. Your voice is so soothing!
Thank you so much Sasha on all accounts!!! This journal practice has really helped with focusing on the positive, I definitely feel happer now than I ever have! And so glad you like the book pages 🥺
That was so helpful. I’m from the UK and I’m also autistic. I’ve never been able to use planners or journals until I rediscovered fountain pens and discovered discbound notebooks late last year. For 2024 I’m going to try a Hobonichi Cousin, 5 Year and Weeks. Special interests are the best ❤
Just finding your content today, and wanted to share how much I enjoyed it. I am also coming to the realization that returning to my journaling habit and creating new habits that are journaling-esque would likely bring me a lot of joy as well as be a positive step for maintaining mental health. I look forward to your regularly/semi-regularly/as often as it works out videos.
Thank you so much! Journalling really can be such an important habit for good mental health. I hope you find a journalling practice that works for you!
i really enjoyed your video! i found you over on tumblr i believe. i was giggling all through this video. thank you for being you and not trying to mask.
I can't believe the video's over.. I really enjoyed the way you described your process and interests ^^ it was so informative and I actually learned a few things 😊
What a great first video! My system for next year is a cousin for memory keeping & a day free for commonplacing ☺️ similar vibes, but I really like having monthly pages in my commonplace book! 🤭
@@ellesbooks It’s definitely different for a commonplace book, but I use them to track my reading! I write when I start/finish books and how much I read. I do a lot of note taking on books in my commonplace, so I like having that info there too ☺️
I just loved this video! It resonated with me on so many levels. I especially enjoyed the simplicity mixed with photos and stickers. Not too overwhelming layout for the senses, Thank you so much for sharing! 🥰
Hi Ellie! I am so happy to have been recommended your video on my RUclips feed. 😂 I am also learning more about my brain and rediscovering what brings me joy/dopamine hahaha. I totally resonate with struggling to simply exist sometimes. I recently told my partner that an absence of my symptoms are enough for me to be happy most days. 😅 I love your list of current special interests and ways to engage with them. 🙂 Can’t wait to see more of your videos here! I use RUclips as a way to regulate myself especially since I don’t do much socialization in my day to day life. Internet friends are where I feel the most safe interacting right now (especially surrounding my special interests!). I hope to start making videos as well someday.
Thank you so much for the kind words!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video :) Totally agree with internet friends often feeling "safer" for topics like these. Would love to see your videos when you get around to them!
oh i feel you on the being too ambitious.. im also chronically ill and disabled and i'm always expecting myself to be able to do more than i can and its such a hard balance also also, i love seeing someone else autistic just mentioning it kind of casually? its a hard feeling to word but its a good one, especially since you've said you're new to this. special interests are so good! and i think tracking special interests focused on is a really nice idea, i might start doing that too!
Yeah... I feel like it's such a constant struggle when you want to do more, but the body is just like: no :))) Also I'm so glad that talking about autism came across well - I am indeed still very new to this and still worried about saying the wrong thing somehow!!!
I just received my A5 cousin avec for 2024 and supplement A5 notebook, so have pretty much come up with a nearly identical system. Cool to see someone else use the A5. I like the space and I have bigger hands. I also like the portability of the avec. I appreciate the perspective you use to show your planner, but that you don't over gesticulate. You also don't talk for several minutes while gesticulating without actually showing something in your book. If I have to watch someone move their hands over their planner for several minutes without showing real content, I click off. So to summarize, fantastic job with your maiden vlog. I am now a subscriber.
SAME! Can’t stand it when people sit for about 10 mins waving their hands about, chatting about nothing and I am thinking ‘just open the damn book already’!! Ellie did an amazing job with this video. Love her sense of humour too!
I can't keep any habits at all, I just gave up on that. I do try to keep tabs on the liquids/water I drink because I have a horrible tendency to drink less than I need. :-S Hobonichi is a bit expensive in Europe too. I bought a Weeks when a Finnish shop put a bunch of stuff on sale. It was half the price so it was worth it to try and see what happens. I didn't really find it a use until I started attending classes & I'd put my notes on it. Now I love it so much. I have tiny writing tho, size it's not a problem for me =)
Oh, I feel that - keeping up with habits is so hard! Especially the water drinking one. Weirdly, I find it easier to remember to drink if I have a straw! So, I've bought a few reusable ones 😅 That's so cool about getting the Weeks on sale! It's a lovely book - I'm glad it works well for you 🥰

@@ellesbooks That's interesting... I find tea in small cups help me. For some reason, when I use big cups or mugs stuff just... languishes there. Yeah, it was an April start with a plain pink cover. Nothing fancy but I just wanted to try (and it was £10). I write winter recipes in the graph pages so no space is gone to waste =)
i also have autism and only got diagnosed like when i was 19. i use a tearaway notepad and then i holepunch the notes and put it in ringbinders. not being able to reorder the notes made me not like journals so thats my system, i do lists, journaling, anything that i need to write down, but yeah thats the system ive been using. love your vibe, keep going.
Oh that's such a cool system - the flexibility it allows for sounds super satisfying! Thank you so much for the kind words, I absolutely will keep going 🥰
I am glad I watched your video. I found out I was autistic in 2016 and I am an older adult. I have been bullet journaling since 2015 and love it. I have a second book a hobonichi A6 that I do what you do. I write down what happened that day. I find that I forget a lot of details because my brain is always so shouty. I have an A5 archer and olive that is my bujo and a second one of these for my master collections so I don’t have to keep migrating those. I do a lot of hand crafts such as cross stitch and knitting and quilting (which help settle my brain) so I like to record my progress and finishes. I just purchased a HON cousin for next year to do my daily what happened in and I think I will try to journal in it as well, I am not very good at keeping up with the dear diary type journaling because I don’t have an adventurous life lol 😂
That sounds like such a wonderful collection of books and hobbies! To be honest, I don't have an adventurous life either 😅 So I mostly record the little things that have brought me joy that day!
Thanks so much for your video! It was so interesting and you're very engaging! I am always interested in hearing how an autistic person journals, because I've been trying to get my autistic daughter (23yo) to do so. I think she would really benefit from it. Personally, I also just dusted off my hobonichi and decided to start using it again earlier this month. It really does bring me joy. Lol. But I also have a plain notebook/commonplace set up as you do. I think sometimes I just need that stream of consciousness journalling to let it all out. 😊
You're so welcome - thank you for watching! While I obviously can't speak for all autistic people - we're all so different! - I can definitely say that for me personally, journalling is so important to my mental wellbeing. Stream of consciousness journalling is such a good venting method - so cathartic 😌
This is so cool. I agree with you - the weekly verticals in the Techo Cousin is very nice, but I find the daily has too much space for me. It's unfortunate the smaller A6 size does not include the Weekly verticals! Your special interests notebook spreads look impressive! you had so much written there. I would struggle to have that much to write. :)
Thanks so much for the kind words! It did take a while to fill that special interests page 😅 And yes, an A6 with the weeklies would be ideal! I often have to ramble a bit to fill the A5 pages haha!
New subscriber…. You have a lovely dry sense of humour that resonates with me 🙏💕. I think your common-place notebook really adds value to the community for ideas- thank you so much! I pray you feel better soon! I completely understand physical pain and injury as well as mental health issues that I speak of daily on my channel as I write training aids for mental health for insurance companies (though at the moment I’m on a sabbatical because of my own personal health). I look forward to seeing more videos and hearing more of your thoughts and experiences! Mel.
Too much of this is relatable :') learning how to thrive autistic, being a massive swiftie, and realising you need to stop focusing so much on the negative.. oh and the name lol - can't wait to see what else you do 😊
just found your channel and am so pleased to have stumbled upon your first video! very excited to subscribe and watch your future videos. thank you for sharing your system! 💛
I fully understand disability and chronic illness. Your mind wants to do so much more than your body ever can. It’s a hard balance to find. I’m also neurodivergent which makes me feel out of place, I’d rather be alone than around others. I find myself writing down so many facts in my common place. I also add things that speak to me. I enjoy being in my books. I enjoyed your flip through and subscribed. I’m using my a5 stalogy similar to how you are using your cousin. I’m moving everything to the a6 hobo techo with weekly supplement for 2024.
I'm so glad you've found solace in your books - they can be such safe spaces! :) Funnily enough, I've bought an A5 stalogy to be my next commonplace book once this one is full!!
What a great video! I love how you use your Cousin, so many juicy spreads! So exciting to meet another autistic chronically ill UK Hobo lover! 😂❤ I'm also late diagnosed BTW (four years ago at age 42!) 😮

for around 10.20 where you said you didnt know how to sum up your mood, i use Daylio and i take the avarage number and mark that im my journal, i try to update the Daylio 4-6 times a day, and i have a notification from the app that sends every hour on the even hour (like 10am, 12pm, 2pm etc)
Thank you so much 🥰 I used just a cheap desk printer - it's a Canon PIXMA TS3355. And I use normal printer paper from a supermarket! I have to change the settings on my MacBook for it to look good though - I have to change the paper type to "plain" and the quality to "best". Hope that helps!
I'm pretty sure I'm on that spectrum too. I've been looking at planner stuff snd beginning to wonder if neurotupical people just don't need planners. I need to get one or make one because i cannnot get anything done without
I think we could be best friends (if we lived in the same country LOL). I have bought countless Hobonichis in the past, but not for the past few years. This year I'm thinking of using a Moleskin as my common place book and maybe a Hobonichi for appointments. By the way, you play Animal Crossing!! I have two islands going, the second one I'm using for the Rags to Riches challenge. And the moon! YES. I look forward to more videos!
Ahhhhh thank you for the kind words!! 🥰 Moleskin books are beautiful to be fair. And yessss yay for Animal Crossing! The Rags to Riches challenge sounds so fun!!
I’ve always wanted to experiment with the Cousin but wondered if the times in the vertical weekly layout would frustrate me because I tend to obsess about things sometimes. Does anyone feel like they bother you?
Full disclosure, the times in the vertical weekly annoy me too... 😅Especially because it starts at like 5am and I am never, ever awake then haha! I've got around it by adding my own AM/PM/EVE headings - they help me ignore the numbers. But I appreciate that might not work for everyone!
Physical books, and occasionally Kindle! I really want to get into audiobooks but I struggle to concentrate on them for some reason - I find myself having to rewind a lot!
Daaaaamn, daddy algorithm came in *hard* with this one! 😮💨 you & I have WAY too much in common, it’s fucking wild! Just recently found out I’m autistic about 2 year ago, suffer from (constant..) chronic illnesses & chronic pain, I have wayyy too many journals & planners 😵💫 subbed, immediately!
@@ellesbooks I used to use Day-Timers planners starting in the 80's. Think they're only online now I need to get a printed catalog to see things actual size and can't figure out how to do that. But I needed both. To do list on one side. And then the timeline of the day to put down stuff I actually did, with a little arrow going down showing how long it took. If it took one hour I'd block that out, 2 hours, 15 minutes etc. Then after work the stuff not done got moved to the next day to Jon the daily stuff I always had to do So when I flipped to a new day it already had a lot of information in there When I wrote my to do list it was as I thought of things, or stuff scheduled in the past. On the day of. I'd number them in order of priority It was actually comforting to me in the morning not having to think or remember because I knew I could open my planner and be reminded of the stuff. My brain works better at night Those don't have room for art much but they come in different sizes
Ahhhh thank you so much Bez! And yes, it was indeed Nandor the Relentless, my eternal favourite vampire 😅 (me and my partner have regular Nandor vs Laszlo debates lol)

I found this video really helpful. I'm journaling in an A5 Hobonichi HON but was worried some of the days I might not have enough room to write out all my thoughts. I had never thought of a common place notebook. Now i can do my long form journaling and all the other random stuff my mind does in there! Thank you!
Thank you so much for the kind words - I'm so glad this video was helpful! Commonplace notebooks are a lot of fun 🥰
OH MY WORD. This is the *first* video I’ve watched that has made me realize a common place book is basically a paper version of the notes app on my phone. This is great. I’ve been wondering for ages what exactly a commonplace book is, but turns out I already knew. 😂
While I’m here, thank you SO MUCH for making this video. 😂👌🏼
TL;DR I’m glad to have found someone I can relate to on RUclips in this world full of normies.
Oh that's such a good idea! Thanks for sharing!
I did a deep drive into setting up a commonplace book over the summer, reviewing lots of videos and written research (including all the way back to John Locke.) Now I am down the rabbit hole with my first mega Weeks and a Cousin! Can't wait to see your future videos. 🎉
It's such a fascinating history! We have a lot to thank Locke for 😅 Thanks so much for the support!! Hope you enjoy your first Hobonichi books!
Thanks so much for the kind words! I think it's important to normalise not filling things in... It's so hard to have the energy y'know 😅
I follow you on Tumblr and when I saw you posted I just had to comment! This was a great first video!! 💕
Thank you so much, this means the world 🥺
for some reason this video started for me 4.30 mins in where you're like " a notebook, a muffin, and unidentified bird, what's not to love." immediately subscribed hahaha
ahahah incredible. what an introduction 😂 thanks so much for subscribing!
Great video! I'm so looking forward to future ones (especially the one on commonplacing). Best of luck with your channel, Ellie!
Thank you so much Heather!!! Means the world 🥺
@@ellesbooks ❤️❤️
@@SamanthaGutie ahhh that’s fair enough. I hope it works well for you!
And so glad you like the book pages 🥺
i love your videos :) I also got diagnosed with autism (and adhd) earlier this year at 26. Its so interesting and inspiring to see your videos. :-)
Thanks so much for the kind words 🥰 and congrats on the diagnosis!! I hope it's been as positive for you as it was for me 😄
That was so helpful.
Ahhh I'm so glad this has been helpful! And I'm so glad that you've found joy in journalling. Fountain pens are the best :)
Oh thank you so much! As someone who's still trying to get comfortable with the idea of not masking, this means a lot 🥺
@@ellesbooks i completely understand. you’re welcome.😊
Your voice is so relaxing! Loved listening to this with a cup of tea and just relaxing
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed the video :)
I can't believe the video's over.. I really enjoyed the way you described your process and interests ^^ it was so informative and I actually learned a few things 😊
Thank you so much!!! So glad you enjoyed the video 🥰
What a great first video! My system for next year is a cousin for memory keeping & a day free for commonplacing ☺️ similar vibes, but I really like having monthly pages in my commonplace book! 🤭
Thank you so much!!! 🥺 Oooh, that's interesting about having monthly pages in the commonplace book - if you don't mind sharing, how do you use them?
@@ellesbooks It’s definitely different for a commonplace book, but I use them to track my reading! I write when I start/finish books and how much I read. I do a lot of note taking on books in my commonplace, so I like having that info there too ☺️
@@dezs-diary That's so cool - thank you for sharing :)
I just loved this video! It resonated with me on so many levels. I especially enjoyed the simplicity mixed with photos and stickers. Not too overwhelming layout for the senses, Thank you so much for sharing! 🥰
Thank you so much for the kind words! So glad you enjoyed the video and the journalling style 🥰
Would love to see your videos when you get around to them!
oh i feel you on the being too ambitious.. im also chronically ill and disabled and i'm always expecting myself to be able to do more than i can and its such a hard balance
also also, i love seeing someone else autistic just mentioning it kind of casually? its a hard feeling to word but its a good one, especially since you've said you're new to this. special interests are so good! and i think tracking special interests focused on is a really nice idea, i might start doing that too!
Yeah... I feel like it's such a constant struggle when you want to do more, but the body is just like: no :))) Also I'm so glad that talking about autism came across well - I am indeed still very new to this and still worried about saying the wrong thing somehow!!!
Thanks Ellie for this heartwarming and calming video !
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching 😄
Great first video, good luck with your channel ❤ I really enjoyed it and am happy to see more
Thank you so much!! 🥰
Thanks for sharing! I’ve been looking for something more intentional to do with my writing and I like the idea of a common place book.
Thanks so much for watching! 🥰 Commonplacing is a lot of fun - can highly recommend it as a mindful practice!
Love how you use your commonplace, you are so relatable!! Can't wait to see more videos from you ☺
Thank you so much!! 😄
I’m looking forward to your videos. 🌷 Loved this first one.
Yay! Thank you so much 🥰
Enjoyed this. Thank you. Love rambling about journaling, planning and commonplacing.
Thank you so much! Can confirm that there will be a lot more rambling about these things on this channel 😅
Your commonplace book is beautiful. I've been wanting to try it out, but wasn't really sure what to include in it, so thanks for the ideas!
Thank you so much for the kind words 🥰 and, you're very welcome!!
So glad I have found your channel - new subscribers here! Great to find another UK planner and RUclipsr. I loved seeing your lovely pages! Thank you!
Thanks so much! 😊 UK planner lovers unite!
Wow, your spreads are beautiful! 😍 So aesthetically pleasing ❤️
Thank you so much!! :)
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad to have you here :) Always cool to find someone with a similar system!
SAME! Can’t stand it when people sit for about 10 mins waving their hands about, chatting about nothing and I am thinking ‘just open the damn book already’!! Ellie did an amazing job with this video. Love her sense of humour too!
@@plan4life thank you so much!
I can't keep any habits at all, I just gave up on that. I do try to keep tabs on the liquids/water I drink because I have a horrible tendency to drink less than I need. :-S
Hobonichi is a bit expensive in Europe too.
So, I've bought a few reusable ones 😅
That's so cool about getting the Weeks on sale!
"...a naked book; try to avert your eyes" 😂 *I love your sense of humor * 😄 I look forward to your next video
Thank you so much!!! :)
i also have autism and only got diagnosed like when i was 19. i use a tearaway notepad and then i holepunch the notes and put it in ringbinders. not being able to reorder the notes made me not like journals so thats my system, i do lists, journaling, anything that i need to write down, but yeah thats the system ive been using. love your vibe, keep going.
This was great Ellie! So strange to see your books, as I am in thr A6 avec and the A6 version of your notebook😂
Thank you so much Gemma!! I always feel the same when I see the A6 versions, it feels so wrong 😂
I spied 1989 TV in your monthly and immediately knew I would enjoy your vibes 😂
Yesssss! The 1989 TV hype is real 😂
I love your voice! This was a lovely video to watch. You got yourself a new subscriber.
Thank you so much!
Mel.
Thank you so much for the kind words about both the video and my health! It's a constant struggle, but we can only do the best we can 🥰
Too much of this is relatable :') learning how to thrive autistic, being a massive swiftie, and realising you need to stop focusing so much on the negative.. oh and the name lol - can't wait to see what else you do 😊
Omg another autistic Swiftie Ellie!! So glad you found this channel 😄
just found your channel and am so pleased to have stumbled upon your first video! very excited to subscribe and watch your future videos. thank you for sharing your system! 💛
Ahhh you're very welcome - thank you so much for watching :)
@@ellesbooks oh that’s funny about your change. We’re both working opposite directions. Thank you 😊
What a great video! I love how you use your Cousin, so many juicy spreads! So exciting to meet another autistic chronically ill UK Hobo lover! 😂❤ I'm also late diagnosed BTW (four years ago at age 42!) 😮
Thanks so much for the kind words!! It's crazy how many of us women are late diagnosed... 🥲

what a great first vid!

for around 10.20 where you said you didnt know how to sum up your mood, i use Daylio and i take the avarage number and mark that im my journal, i try to update the Daylio 4-6 times a day, and i have a notification from the app that sends every hour on the even hour (like 10am, 12pm, 2pm etc)
Oh that's such a good idea! Thank you for sharing!
Congrats on your 1st video! How do you make the stickers for your commonplace book? Please share what paper and printer you use? ❤
I really enjoyed your video and commentary.
Thanks so much!
I enjoyed this video VERY much! I have subscribed and looking forward to anything else you share! 🫶
Thank you so much!! That means the world 😄
Not a tragic tea related incident 😭🙃 Congrats on your video, I really loved watching it!
Trust me, I shed a tear that day 🥲😅 Thank you so much!
I'm pretty sure I'm on that spectrum too. I've been looking at planner stuff snd beginning to wonder if neurotupical people just don't need planners.
I need to get one or make one because i cannnot get anything done without
I think the difference might be that while neurotypical people might WANT planners, we neurospicy folk really do NEED them... 😅
First where! I couldn't tell❤Lovely and thorough first
Thank you so much!!!

Yes! I use double-sided tape :) I tried glue but it doesn't seem to work well on the super thin Tomoe River paper. Thanks for the kind words!
I just subbed. I am curious about your content. I also like journaling, commonplacing, plannng, and reading.

for the emotions tracker ive started giving the day a star rating (negative stars allowed lmao)
Oh I love that idea! Especially the inclusion of negative stars because yeah, definitely necessary lol
do you read physical books or audios?
Physical books, and occasionally Kindle! I really want to get into audiobooks but I struggle to concentrate on them for some reason - I find myself having to rewind a lot!
Daaaaamn, daddy algorithm came in *hard* with this one! 😮💨 you & I have WAY too much in common, it’s fucking wild! Just recently found out I’m autistic about 2 year ago, suffer from (constant..) chronic illnesses & chronic pain, I have wayyy too many journals & planners 😵💫 subbed, immediately!
Ahhhh so glad you found my channel!!! We definitely have SO much in common 😅
I've watched Dyan Reevly and she doesn't make To Do lists. She makes To Done lists. So she only writes down what she's already done
Oh thank you for the recommendation! That sounds like a really cool/less pressurizing system!
Then after work the stuff not done got moved to the next day to Jon the daily stuff I always had to do
So when I flipped to a new day it already had a lot of information in there
When I wrote my to do list it was as I thought of things, or stuff scheduled in the past. On the day of. I'd number them in order of priority
It was actually comforting to me in the morning not having to think or remember because I knew I could open my planner and be reminded of the stuff. My brain works better at night
Those don't have room for art much but they come in different sizes
Yay Ellie this was a delight to watch!! I also love F+TM and Taylor Swift 😁 I also spotted “I 🤍 Nandor” on a page… is this Nandor the Relentless? 👀
