He did a good job here to carry her tones here. Fantastic ! And cos she doesn't seem scared here, and nor could she hear a strong voice, she rose up to belt out her higher tone here.... Great job.
Before automation of equipments and softwares and broadcasting... the gap between a machine, to the end sound that gets received into the ears... is often controlled as well... So even though we may seem to think that Mr Lam here.. can do an actual... soft tone... but.. in reality, if you see how his hands drags out the mike... he is not taking any chances of ruining the sound. Yes, of course, even if he fails this stage... the sound engineers may also adapt too... (I mean, they could have this.) But yes.. when you see him do this.. then you can see that he is aware of this as well. It is basic Physics on the overlapping as well. And even in a wide and large place like this... yes, you still want the ending sound from whichever angle to feel and be the same too, to the end listener. Traditional platforms and entertainment areas, used to have a triangular stage to force the listeners to fall into the location where the perfect sound is heard... And of course, as "netizens".. we do not care about that.. or really appreciate the deep actions as well... and decisions made on these kind of situation. Cos what we see, is an actual computer-interface only... But this is the first stage... of performances... and then, of course, recorded videos and sound could indeed also be re-adjusted by analysers and videography softwares as well. But to appreciate the more natural sound, is an actual skill. Sometimes running too fast, and wanting to broadcast this.. would just stops you from enjoying that self discovery. i.e. You won something very simple... Love watching this gentleman perform here.
