Car sounds great man, love it! I got this single exit straight through Magnaflow on mine, obviously doesn't look quite right and is quieter than I wanted, basically the same setup as you mod wise on an E90 but gutted secondaries. This tempts me to go for the delete now but I'm worried without the secondaries I'll get pulled over 24/7. Yours seems pretty loud from what I can tell already.
yep! its pretty loud already, its not crazy loud if you shift under 3000 rpm though. When it goes into the second stage on the intake manifold it can get a bit raspy. I have a 135i muffler going on soon which will quiet it down a bit
thanks josh, I want to make it sound a bit better. I think at the moment its a bit too raspy. I might add a bmw performance exhaust on it to tone it down a bit for track
Dope set up if it were me i would delte the resonator you have and add a performance resonator or i would add another resonator sounds really good those headers really give it a different tone
theres a technique to make it pop crazy without a tune, i have a 328i e90 and i only have muffler and resenator delete it pops more than this. try to rev it on p reach 3 k rpm minimum and let go and lightly tap the gas pedal several times while rpm is going down, and make a video cuz its gonna be lit
@@gamingoverdose2792 yeah i know of this technique, i still have my resonator because I didn't want any drone but it would be louder probably way too obnoxious. I will post a video of that soon, but i'm pretty sure the resonator cancels out a lot of it

@@bruce_son Your car sounds awesome man. I actually have a 328XI with the N51 Stage 2 AA tune. Got AA headers, secondary cat delete, and muffler. Only kept the resonator. I have to say I'm actually pretty happy with the way it sounds. Sure could tone it down a bit but honestly its controllable loud. I have almost 0 rasp. The only issue is the car shaking and ear popping drone from 2500rpm to 3000 rpm. I love to cruise at 85-90mph and at those speeds the rpm is sitting at 3kprm. Pretty sure I spoke to you like 5-6 months ago. I was riding in my friends low white 86. You have the comp or apex wheels right, don't remember. My ig is bimmerson92 you can hmu on there
Did you have to do any kind of flash tune to allow the disa valves in the intake manifold to work, because the n52 328i manifolds dont have disa valves. Also what did you do for tuning?
Thinking about getting headers for my n52, already did the bimmerlabs tune and put a 3 stage intake manifold and silicone intake boot on it. Where did you get your headers from and is it just a plug and play install?
You will want a tune with the headers or else it will run rich. Having run both, AA or the Aliexpress headers have the same quality. Been running over 2 years hard without any cracks. Supersprint is the best though. Pretty much plug n play other than the tune but it'll still run fine
i have a sulev N52 3009 328i and about to get auto werke headers and i have a magna flow muffler you think this is a good set up?? and some type of tune after but don’t know what tune
Just a bit of fiddling around and time. Its not that hard just time consuming to get all the o2 sensors and nuts out. Having a friend help you will definitely make it faster. It took me 5-6 hours on jack stands solo
I used AA headers. Its a bit raspy with the muffler delete, I plan to get some type of muffler sooner or later since it is very loud sometimes. Drone is very little at 75 around 2800rpm in 6th gear
@@Monkojama ruclips.net/video/ISAiDjlIisI/видео.html heres a more recent video of driving with the headers. if you want a little louder, get a secondary cat delete. Headers will basically double the sound
@@bruce_son will shops even do that? I can't fab or anything. I love the sound, of it, all i care about is if the drone is atrocious, like to the point where you can't even listen to music. how would you rate the drone, 1 being fantastic, 10 being you're going deaf
@@Monkojama I kept my resonators so its not terrible. When I had only the muffler delete, I would say the drone would be at 2-3. With the headers around 5, it drones more under 3000rpm but once your above 70-75 it doesnt drone badly anymore. You need to find a fabrication shop. What state are you in? You could also buy the Supersprint Section 1 Cat deletes and basically all you need to do is cut the old pipe and put clamps on the new pipes provided. They are around 250-300

This sounds creepily identical to my Volvo lol. Although raspier. Sounds great
I added on a muffler, the rasp was too much for me plus too many cops

I know 328i’s have a lot of back pressure, do you lose all of it from taking mufflers off? Trying to do something similar to my 328
won't be noticable, sure you can lose a little bit of torque at low end. but it will flow better above the midrange.
The system is already so restricted with all the cats, and then a resonator. Removing just the muffler will be ok 👌
did u tune it for it to pop like that or just headers and muffler delete ?
not tuned yet, just headers and muffler delete. after the tune it should pop less as it is running a bit too rich right now
