    I have to say you rock, you made the reasoning behind each scenario so clear !!!!! fantastic job, really appreciate it

    Great video, I’ve seen good teachers on RUclips but none I could understand better than you. I really like the examples you give with the syringe and the pot that made it a whole lot easier to understand the concepts 👍

    The way you explain things really helps bring a better understanding of what I'm doing. Thanks man.

    I've been watching your videos for a few weeks now and love them! I often refer people from my FB HVAC groups to your channel! I had already been watching HVAC Know it all, HVAC School, and AC Service tech. All great sources, but your content is my favorite. I love this play list. It feels like a HVAC curriculum. Only thing I would love to see is a type of test between X number of videos. I'd love to be able to test my knowledge as I go so I can go back and re watch videos depending on my test score. Please keep up the good work Ty!!

      Thank you Charles!
      There is a lot of great sources out there. Many of us work together, as everyone learns and connects differently. I'm glad to know this is helping you.
      The test really great idea!
      It will take a little time but I think I can put something together. I appreciate the suggestion, thank you!

    Great explanation of how heat effects caps. It is like you were reading my mind because I am currently examining a window unit. Thanks Mr Ty!

    Great video TY at times/all the time 😆. I for get to do wet bulb and dry bulb and just set my Superheat to 10-15/18°. And look at my temp split. Great video can't wait for the next one.

    7:52 twelve seconds of pure tension 😂 Thanks Ty.
    I was wondering if you could explain in more detail how the saturation pressure and temperature in the condenser increases due to the temperature of the air at the condenser inlet?

    Sir can u share video with taking examples electronic expansion valve instead fixed orifices mettering devices

    • @love2hvac
      @love2hvac  3 года назад +1

      Charging a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV/TEV) will be the same method as a (EEV/EXV).
      The TXV/TEV videos will be up in the next few days and the EEV/EXV videos will be up in a few weeks.
      I always start out with fixed office metering devices
      Once a student understands that, it give greater appreciation to the TXV/TEV

    At the end of the video when you say we should be able to determine what are super heat should be at, in regards to a split system do you check your superheat at the compressor or at the outlet of the evaporator?

    • @love2hvac
      @love2hvac  2 года назад

      True superheat is at the evaporator but we early get a pressure port to test there. total superheat is most commonly used at the condensor.
      (Commercial use superheat at the evaporator, resedental typically at the condensor)

    If your outdoor condenser is in direct sunlight how do you approach taking outdoor dry-bulb temp with the thermocouple? Do you try to create artificial shade or leave probe in the direct sunlight?

    • @love2hvac
      @love2hvac  3 года назад +2

      Yes, a clip board, paper, anything to block the direct sunlight

    Hello Mr.Ty. system charged correctly and every thing in it work ok so is possible to overfill evaporator and cause damage to vapor pump? Thank you.💐

    • @love2hvac
      @love2hvac  2 года назад

      If everything is working correctly no chance of overfilling the evaporator and damaging the compressor.
      Running under low bient conditions,
      Things that will:
      Over charged,
      Bad or low air flow, (duct, filter, coil dirty)
      Missing or oversized metering device,
      Evap coil too small/not matched to the condensor.
      TXV oversized, it damaged
      Contactor welds shut keeping the compressor running when unit shuts off.
      There's probay something else...

    Is it possible to replace a piston with a txv? Is it possible and is thete any benefit to making the change? Is there a drop in replacement?

    • @love2hvac
      @love2hvac  Год назад +1

      Absolutely. In this video series I talk about replacing a fixed orifice with a TXV.
      The TXV will control superheat, extend compressor life and perform better.
      However to do it without other work being performed is cost prohibitive.
