Gotta say I love all the Brass Against singers, but Amanda's got such a set of pipes on her! This is one of my favorite covers - really solid performances by everyone, but her voice transports me every time.
all that Chris left us is his beautiful music and to hear it played so respectfully and professionally is a great tribute to him... well done brass against
The deep growl of that sax helps. The band Morphine used a similar blending, albeit without brass. You might like their Cure For Pain album if you dig the electric strings/wind instrument mix.
Keith Richards has always maintained that his guitar sound was derived from trying to sound like a brass section. Clapton said his biggest influence was Little Walter playing his harmonica through an amp. What I'm driving at - electric guitars should be able to blend with brass sections. :) Cheers
Im not knocking Brass Against in any way I think they are great but it would be great to hear Amanda sing over the original instrument's. It would sound dope as hell imo. Keep up the awesome work guys
I had a hard time describi g it to someone who isn't listening to it yet. The best I could muster was "it's super fuckin creamy; smooth with no churn". Sorry, butter. The tonal colors in this are dazzling my ears in a pretty new way that's taking many listens to fully wedge into my brain.
I think that I’ve listened to this performance 30 times since I found to recently. Like it better every time. Amanda’s pipes, the sousaphone work, all of it. Wow. Just incredible.
This gave me chills it's a perfect cover, you didn't dress it up, no pop star vibrato nonsense, just pure unadulterated rock vocals. If I wore a hat I'd take it off for you. Sick cover man.
Amanda....you have one helluva set of pipes! And brass......awesome tweak on the original. I just read tonight that Brass Against will play the "Welcome to Rockville" music fest at Daytona Speedway this November. Can't wait to see you guys live!
We see all instruments in the song, that's how these recordings work. I also put on super nice headphones and listened and and the bass line is played by the guy on sousaphone.
Her voice with this song is absolutely incredible
I just can't stop coming back to this video. Man this cover and Amanda's voice... this must be awarded as a hymn
Really? People actually give this a thumbs down? Probably couldn’t hang with a group like this!!
The album this is from is absolutely perfect. Cornell was such a real one. He is sorely missed.
her voice is so goddamn clean!! holy shit
Gotta say I love all the Brass Against singers, but Amanda's got such a set of pipes on her! This is one of my favorite covers - really solid performances by everyone, but her voice transports me every time.
Same, she feels it when she sings it.
Little power house with a rock n roll soul! Don't sell out, you don't need too. You did that song right.
He's alive... In the voice of our souls ❤
Just a grown ass man getting goosebumps over here.
same here !
I’m not quite an old man yet but I’ve been listening to this song since I was a day old. And this group covered it exquisitely!

There are people who appreciate what you do.

The moment Amanda Brown started singing, I started to well up. Can't explain it. More of her, please!

OMG SHE ABSOLUTELY MURDERED THIS SONG!!!!NAILED IT I LOVE HER VOICE
Damn she nailed every note, you did audioslave proud!!
Possibly the finest cover In the world...
She sounds pretty good. Cornell had a sound/voice that is hard to replicate.
Bring music and art back to schools nationwide immediately.
Thats the best vocal cover of Chris Cornell I've ever heard, Amanda Brown nailed it
Totally agree
totally!
what a voice. chris would be proud
I love how you guys can make trumpets/trombones blend with guitars.
The deep growl of that sax helps. The band Morphine used a similar blending, albeit without brass. You might like their Cure For Pain album if you dig the electric strings/wind instrument mix.
I'll look 'em up, thanks for the recc!
yes! Yes! YES! I miss mark sandman!
Hell ya Chicago did why not this band great sound awesome voice
Keith Richards has always maintained that his guitar sound was derived from trying to sound like a brass section. Clapton said his biggest influence was Little Walter playing his harmonica through an amp. What I'm driving at - electric guitars should be able to blend with brass sections. :) Cheers
Never has the phrase "They've got some pipes" been more appropriate than now! Wow, kick ass vocals with some awesome brass behind!
Queen... You dropped this... 👑
induced tears of joy. no exaggeration.

All that brass in one small room must be as much of a physical as an audio experience. You guys rock it! Love Amanda!
This is amazing, great work everyone!
She really nailed Chris' performance here... the accent, tonality, everything. Man I am impressed.
Goosebumps.
She made it her own and still kept to the original. Amazing
SPOT F’ING ON!!!!!
That was so unexpectedly good!
All the audioslave songs need to be covered eventually by all of you. Simply fantastic.
Amanda Brown just nailed this!
Im not knocking Brass Against in any way I think they are great but it would be great to hear Amanda sing over the original instrument's. It would sound dope as hell imo. Keep up the awesome work guys
And this people is what you get. When outstanding musicians play together.
What a spanking cover. Forever Cornell, he would be stoked to hear this brilliant track!
Beautiful cover of a Great song! I love her voice. Chris Cornell still alive in our hearts. ♥️
Her voice is unreal. So pure! Love all the horns. A great tribute!
You can hear the personality of every musician and the unique sound of every instrument.
I could listen to this woman's voice all day.
Brass against is so amazing, just wow
Sousaphone guy is killing it
thanks you everyone on this feed for being so full of love! music is the secret to our healing!xoxoxoxoxoxox
That voice! Hit me right in the soul-gut.
This is the greatest tuba-driven rap-metal hybrid female Audioslave cover I have ever heard.
Really great job . . . Ms. Brown hits this out of the park.
I was going to complain that they didn't use Sophia, until I heard her voice! This band kicks ass! I would love to see a duet between Sofia and Amanda
My thoughts exactly, agreed 100%
True.
This song fits Amanda better, but I am def a bigger Sophia fan. She KILLS it and I love th passion
How about they duet on an Alice in chains song :0
Holy Jesus Christmas. A Sophia and Amanda Alice in Chains Brass Against cover.... please stop teasing me
Wow, just wow!!!!! Sing it girl...
Damn!!! She's strong.. Amazing cover.. What a beautiful voice and beautiful woman. Complete..
Daaaaaamn, this girl brought some soul to that song!
I'm not usually a "voice guy," I'm into a raw/screamy rock performance, but her voice gives me goosebumps on this track. So smooth yet powerful.
If ever there would be an Audioslave reunion, make sure to get Amanda!
Amanda Brown is incredible. Cannot wait for her and Mrs Ursta bringing it together.
The brass really brings out the fuzziness in that guitar distortion. Sounds badass.
Wow, what a singer!! What a voice!! And what a Musikkombo.... Viele Grüße aus Deutschland!!??
As much as I like other Brass Against work, this is my favorite. Sharp. Precise. Passionate. Best sousaphone work that I’ve ever heard.
I think that I’ve listened to this performance 30 times since I found to recently. Like it better every time. Amanda’s pipes, the sousaphone work, all of it. Wow. Just incredible.
I only hope that Chris got to hear this before he left. He would have absolutely loved it.
Y’all seriously kick so much ass. Love it.🤘🏾
It's been awhile since I've been this blown away by a performance... but wow! Well done!
WOW . Perfect.. 👏👏👏👏 Brass Against and Amanda. The covers of Sound garden and Audio slave. Great stuff . Can say enough… Love it
Smoothly executed! Gave me the chills! As if I heard Chris Cornell in a feminine singing voice! Wow!
This has great bond theme song vibes. Fitting that Cornell sang one
Words can't explain how amazing this cover really is.
Wow😳😳 what a voice!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏿🤘🏿

This gave me chills it's a perfect cover, you didn't dress it up, no pop star vibrato nonsense, just pure unadulterated rock vocals. If I wore a hat I'd take it off for you. Sick cover man.
I am officially old. When Tom Morello is in the ad before a RUclips video telling me how I much I can rock if I pay for this "Masterclass".....
Hairs stood up on the back of my neck. Damn, she's got some pipes and that brass is awesome. Chris would be digging this.
Excellent Andrea and brass band.
Those notes did not know how good it would be to get bent like that by Amanda, and they've never been happier
You should hear her sing Dream On! ruclips.net/video/qmrIQueFogk/видео.html
The goosebumps never stopped, this one is really special.
She totally pulls it of. Great band. Thank you!!!
I am glad music is color blind, this lady sings like she follows rock and hard rock all the time.
Amanda Brown you're gonna make me cry
Finally got one right! Amanda Brown kills this!!!
This song has been playing in my head for a few weeks now. Hard to sleep when this is what you hear when you lay down and close the eyes.
Beg to disagree, feels like it all disappears into the sunset.
Eternal Earworm, this is🫡🤗🙌⚡️🎤
Not only are they killing these great songs, but it's fun just to watch the band and how they create these sounds! Great job once again Brass Against!
I've been late to the @brassagainst party. Good lord @Amandabrown ... Those beautiful pipes. You make it look effortless.
How did I stumble upon these amazing artists! Doing covers of arguably the greatest artists who have ever lived and doing it exceptionally well.
She sets this song alive!
What a voice!!! 😍
Great cover and "Show me how to live" cover is perfect
Good God the pipes on that woman. Incredible

A fitting tribute to Chris Cornell's work. Y'all just keep knocking it out of the park. Don't stop!!
Amanda....you have one helluva set of pipes! And brass......awesome tweak on the original. I just read tonight that Brass Against will play the "Welcome to Rockville" music fest at Daytona Speedway this November. Can't wait to see you guys live!
No credit for the big guy on the sousaphone? Cause listing to this with the bass up... the whole bass line is super super tight.
kinda like a super fuel dragster starting its warmup just before a burnout
all the intruments THRUM right at the beginning
Joshua Buckman sousaphone?
I’m almost sure there is a bass in this one
We see all instruments in the song, that's how these recordings work. I also put on super nice headphones and listened and and the bass line is played by the guy on sousaphone.
Joshua Buckman : Man, that sousaphone work, right?
what freaking killer angel
