S0N_0f_ CALi that’s barely enough volume for 1. Those things are massive and I’m pretty sure the box is not made to manufacturer specs
S0N_0f_ CALi I had a T2 10” and I believe the volume of a ported box was specified on the manual for the sub around 4 cubic feet

I got 13w7 and yea it’s like having a big 15”! Good idea making them that way they still fit in small boxes for how big they are! Or at least the W7 does not sure about the Rockford.

At this point I have almost used them all exept 8’s subs not mids and 16” or 19”! No 21” either nothing over a 18” ever and nothing smaller then a 10”! Most of mine have been 12’s or 15’s or 1 18” or 3 10’s was nice punchy bass. Just depends on car and what your after. I enjoyed them all still have a 13w7 and 2 LVL4 12’s from DC audio. I need to make one but system with all my stuff in one car it would sound crazy but loud guaranteed loud. Be some lows for sure.
How would you compare the dc lvl 4 to the t2?

13.5 inch subs have been around for a good min. I've got 2 Jl 13w7's in around 9 cubes ported being pushed by a wolfram 4500.1 at 1.5 ohm . tuned around 34ish. Voltage is steady around 14.2 volt. They get down. About to do 4 16 inch fosgates in a h3 hummer in a 6th order with around 12000 watts as soon as this Corona shit comes to pass.
Why do 4 fosgate 16s when u can just get 2 team sundowns and be twice as loud as that over priced junk
Had new plans for the h3 hummer. I ended up going with 2 team resilient sounds 18's on a 17K crescendo in a 6th order. I agree fosgate is over priced but junk they are not. I would have to hear it to believe two team sundowns would beat 4 16 inch fosgates. Cone area would be two great.

Rockford is top dawg in my opinion. Superior quality and innovative and "mercan" made :-) allot of people don't like the cost but they don't understand that Rockford creates their own product they don't copy like all the others.
In the proper box a single would hit even harder, and sound better… your getting maybe 30% of the power/flex you could have.. Rockford recommends 4 cubic ft per sub for a ported enclosure, that entire box likely isn’t even 4 cubic ft.
Did this guy have the electronically to support 2 2500bdcps? What alts and what batteries was he running it takes power to make power and those were not un spec boxes no way

@@cadillacon24z I am sure you know more about JL Audio bro. In my life the only experience with JL have been with 2 12" W3s and 3 10" W6 and 1 RCAs brand JL. The 2 12 were my ex friend's system I did hear it and bump around. The 3 10s were my dad's friend. I just saw them and hear a little bit. And the JL rcas were in my other ex friend amplifier a NS1 though.
I don't think the box is too small. Specs ask for 2.5 cu inch per sub. Thing is.. He has them turned to the rear and the box takes up most of the trunk space... Hence most boxes use that extra space (like a huge speaker box) .. He should turn the box around. Trust me!! when I say it will sound a LOT better, clearer, and louder. You will get your moneys worth. That makeshift port aint doing those subs any justice.... I know this from experience. Also, how can he make his box any bigger LOL.. they almost take up the whole trunk.. and I am pretty sure that 5 cu inches are all thats needed.. Maybe adjust the port cu inches. Nice build!!
You will loose a dB facing the cabin area but gain a dB facing the trunk area and he needs between 6" & 12" space between the port and wall for more breathing room to because that would help with more output as well so facing forward is clean and clear but facing trunk is actually more output but less clean & clear bass so yeah

I'm confused so the box is ported in the middle of the subs, he cut out what looks to be a blow through Port on the rear deck and he has the back seat down, so whats the point of it all? Like just choose 1 port option. The rear deck port is useless since the port is in the front of the box its definitely useless since the seats are down. But awesome equipment though

Not sure why but it seems that no one caught a huge problem with this build besides the ovious one being not enough air. Two amp cannot be perfectly matched to push each sub the same.With a system this spensive and loud, u pretty much need a custom box and just face the subs frontward and seal the trunk from the cabin.
Pretty sure he could stack those T2500 and wire parallel into 1 ohm. But with that little ass box. Probably not a good idea

That box is way to small!!! Each sub needs a box tha big atleast. I had 1 T2 in my Tacoma and the box took up the whole extended cab. (Built to Rockford specs)

Rockford no longer makes subs that slap. They are good quality and sound but doesn’t compare to say, sundown or american bass. The amps tho 👌🏾 they still got that magic

Sub should be turned around into the cab the box is too large and takes up almost all the trunk space pretty much eliminating any 6th order effect a typical rear sub facing set up would.

John Doe Read up on this one, I’m no scientist but it has to do with wavelengths and shit. I didn’t get it when I first started but I do know I’m noticeably louder facing the trunk..
Turning it around for ME would be for show and tell and I hate trunk rattle unless it's for SPL! But like I said when he gets more power that whole rear of the trunk is on a path of destruction😂I can see it now trunk latch dangling!
