Fantastic performance but I just love watching Yamashita playing this. He's so intense and truly beyond genius to have arranged and played this all those years ago.
You have to play at least a little bit of guitar to fully realize how difficult is to perform a piece of this caliber, and best of all, to play it with exquisite musicality...Caballero is among the greatest guitarists I ever heard.
A freat musician inside a wooden shell, with strings around, to call the world to share the greatness of musical expression of man, in a way no others are able to do.

wow! I never thought that someone would have enough courage to perform this piece on guitar. Perfect!
though the piece was originally written for piano everybody can see (and hear) how many colours the guitar actually has. Jorge Caballero is a first class player who masters Yamashita's transcription. It seems he plays from an inner quietude. Thank you.
"Promenade" from Pictures at an Exhibition, in B-flat major, and is a recurring theme between the actual movements, in different keys. As the entire piece progresses, the Promenade interludes are separated by more and more movements, signifying deeper and deeper immersion in the exhibition.
Bendiciones
i NEED to know the name of the piece/song that starts at 5:50 and ends at 10:06... this info would help furthur my interest in this kinda shit.. thank you
I thought the economy was making orchestras go out of business. Today I learned this guy picked up a guitar and just showed everyone he could do it better.
it's an 11 in my opinion ....because that's when you realize people want you to believe in god so that you are a submissive participant in believing you are not in control of what you are doing.
When guitarists play Pictures, it is a circus act. with Jorge, the listener is in the museam beholding all of those pictures as Mussoursky intended us to do.This guitar player is the 21st cent.Segovia.Placing musianship above technique.

Stunning Jorge - the combination of grace, beauty, power, intelligence and musical creativity.
Amazing! Never heard this work on guitar before. He played it wonderfully!

If 10 is for god, this deserves an 11.
Nunca tinha visto alguém explorar tantos recursos e timbres no violão.

Fiquei 37 minutos vidrados.
