My experience with CA course is
1. Its a professional course respect it...over confidence will kill ur moral.
2. This course should be taken up only in ur 3rd year degree(personal opinion) by this way you get to enjoy college life plus get a bit matured in handling CA course.
3. Planning ur studies are very important. After inter just focus ur energy in article ship and studies. rest things can wait.
4. Know when to quit. Dont drag urself to a limit of no return.
5. Dont be a boring person in suit and tie who cant laugh and enjy...like having a cheat day.
6. Lastly the journey is difficult but the end result is Suberb...bcz lifes starts after u complete CA.
Remember u r going to put a lot of time and effort not only urs but ur family and friends also..so be committed.
Really, am in year 2, just started first Semester, wrote my first part, failed English, been so sad but I want to be a chartered accountant before I graduate

I am a CA student from South Africa and I can confirm that it is one of the hardest courses in the world. It does not get as much fame as physics, engineering, medicine, etc but it is a tough one.
Independent Studying without a healthy competition is one of the biggest hindrance for me😢
for me aswell that makes me feel like this aint for me but idk what else i can do am in 12th grade
Compete with yourself, beat the person you were yesterday, your growth would be exponential.
Try taking tests and competing with yourself

I just finished my Bachelor's and am planning to enroll into CA soon. I don't have anyone to guide me through this and my determination is all I have to move forward. Most my friends have moved forward with a job or pursued master's so.... Guess I'm by myself from here. 😅

The first thing is soooo true..... I went into ca because people around me suggested I should do it and since I couldn't decide on anything else I went for it. When I passed the foundation exam I was so motivated that i gave my all to it but now I am stuck in inter and i dont know what to do

It's not an ideal course.. If you're not passionate about it.. You need to be consistent. To keep practicing even memorising in subjects like law and audit.

@@rushikadam4827 look I understand what u meant but being in 10th and not knowing what career to choose after that is a big deal and can't wait till 10th to get over and then think cuz thats not how it will work out.. immediately after 10th admissions for colleges will start and to be able to get into a good college I need to know beforehand the stream I want to take!

Even I am a qualified CA. No matter how worthy this degree is, the cost to get there is too much.

I'm in CA final currently. Im only 24. But for some reason, I just am not able to move ahead. I think I'm exhausted and just unable to study for my finals that are 2 months away

Now I'm a ca inter student....I passed my foundation with distinction ....I always used 2 get tensed about my exams even in foundation but I got through it.......But when I came 2 ca inter I had seen the reality.....the syllabus is vast.....tym is less.....even u try 2 focus u don't get interest......at one point of time I'm completely drained but I'm boosting up atleast to try to clear my xams.....I'm really very tensed about my ca inter xams .....even though I spend a lot of tym with books I don't remember them..😖

I wish i knew it before… just bcoz I didn’t get into good colz I joined CA and this course has changed my personality completely. In my school days i was social animal and after clearing cpt i got confidence and now stuck in finals… no motivation, no social life,having some health issues, embarrassment in your own eye what mess you have created but hope in your parents eye….even don’t like to talk to any relatives uff

Completely agree with you, specially regarding self evaluation part. However, I felt that the video only acknowledged the struggle of pursuing CA and not how to counter them to find a balance.
Its a MYTH that CA is just about struggles.
Speaking from personal experience, one can skillfully balance studies and fun/personal life.
We should also look at the bright side.
One should be aware that by pursuing CA, one can become versatile in understanding various aspects of the business world and play a pivotal role in not just in ANY organisation but in many other things.
This is only bcoz of the knowledge this course gives you.

I am a CA and CS Finalist student , appearing for both groups and juggling my preparations with industrial training. And also guiding my brother for his 12th class upcoming boards.
So yes trust me, I can definitely relate to sleepless nights, anxiety , stress level, the level of commitment and sacrificing required for these courses.
I faced the same feelings when i started doing regular college and appear for IPCC simultaneously, but with time and change of perspective I realised, i need to have a balance in life and make time for things important to me, otherwise i will end up getting irritated and suffocated.. so accordingly I started making my choices , planning breaks/holidays... etc..
Thats how I am managing to enjoy professional journey as well..
The meaning of "benefits" is very subjective to everyone:
From my POV benefits are :
1. In-depth knowledge
2. Synergy of the multiple courses will make you flexible and help you explore various fields and not feel restricted.
3. You will be a valuable asset as you will bring expertise of various different areas as well. Which may help you to earn more..
In a nutshell, it is like being an all-rounder cricketer 💫
I dont know if you watch cricket but if you do, you will know how valuable an all-rounder cricketer is..

Yes!! I myself am a creative person. Taking commerce after 10th means everyone banging on your chest to do CA. I don't want to do it! I like writing and CA is one course that'll absorb all my time and not let me express my other relevant hobbies. This video was a great help and now lemme just send it to my obnoxious neighbours and teachers haha.

As far as my understanding is concerned, please consider the following CONS before taking CA/CMA/CS
1. No college life
2. Total course self-preparation
3. Course duration is not calculated in terms of no of years
4.u will be starting to work as an employee from 19-20 age, u will loose freedom to do everting

Ma'am earlier CA Entrance was very tough. Now CPT is made easy as more slaves are needed. Also tell CA Final results are based on economy and on demand and supply of CAs in the market. Do tell that CA students aren't given marks if they write answers in their own words even if the meaning is same as that in the Institute's study material. They are expected to do mugging of the study material.
Im half way through.. too late to watch this video.. but self realised most of the points which you mentioned, in the recent past.. I wish every person before entering into CA watches this.. however they will not understand the intensity of the words until and unless they experience it.. Anyways.. Thanks for sharing! ♥️

It's easy just 3 to 4 month complete dedication does the trick. Make yourself a prisoner for 3 to 4 months cutoff from world mobile etc.
Do 2 papers a day in last 15 days.
I did full in first attempt in 22 years. Don't do classes enjoy self study.

Is a B.Com one year course from IGNOU (as per MOU, between ICAI and IGNOU) a recognised one? Will I be eligible for exams like the UPSC/MBA/CFA and all?

Some people even fail in CA foundation despite getting 90pc + in 12th boards 😞
I didnt get 90PC+ but still I cleared my ca foundation exam july2021 in very first attempt...you just need to change your approach...

Very informative.... Just a small correction though. CA is not a degree. It's a diploma. If you want a degree, you need to do it separately. Only mentioning this as many people are under the misunderstanding that it is a degree.

CA has been one of the most respected and fruitful courses in India for decades because it's a tough course. Except the articleship factor this course can be managed with ease. However students have to maintain the discipline of studying long hours before the exams. It's not a course where you enjoy college life and go for parties. It's a course for everyone who cannot finance a MBA course and it changes the life of a common man and their family.
I'm already falling down the deep end.
Do CPA Aus./CA NZ/CPA CANADA/ACCA UK. Why to be here in India.
Live quality life.
Also make a video.. How many manhours lost in th process.. Also not to forget list of unsuccessful Foundation students and years lost..

I am just new to this course, preparing for my foundation exam in December. After watching this video, I came to know that I am not made for this degree to be very honest, I am an extrovert person, I don't like taxes and all that data and dont like this kinda work which a CA offers. But now I am very much perplexed about my career. My family told me to pursue it and if i tell them that I am not made for this, they are just gonna assume that I am afraid of the study. I have literally no idea whats going on in my life and career. If you are reading this please help me

Hmm Gaurav, that depends on what industry you are entering. I switched industries that's why my MBA and consulting experience was more relevant for the specific jobs I was applying to.
