Lava and ash have been spewing from the Taal volcano in the Philippine province of Batangas, 65km (40 miles) south of the capital Manila. Since the volcano became more active on January 12, 2020, more than 7,700 people have been evacuated. Authorities have raised an alert to level 4 on a scale of 5, as they warned of a possible hazardous eruption and volcanic tsunami. The last time Taal erupted was in 1977.

I got to be honest this was scary when it happened people keep telling me that theres an earthquake but I can’t feel it because I can only feel how fast my heart started beating
Your in the Philippes?
If i can remember last few weeks there have been reported a small movement or shaking can be feel around mount kinabalu, sabah malaysia.
And yep I’m from the Philippines Were a bit close to tagatay were the volcano is located even though were pretty far away we still get effected by the volcanoes earthquake
2:53 not even the actual volcano crater itself, that's just one of the vents.
True
the lake is the crayer

Yep the true volcano is big not small
Btw im a filipino
The background music sounds way off, it too creepy that it should be used in horror vids loll

It is, that's why people are still stubborn enough to travel near that volcano.

It's real yet dangerous,
It erupted again today 💀😔

That’s not a lake. It’s the caldera that has filled with water over time. The entire area around it is part of the volcano. Time to leave.
I agree with you bro. What if that is the real sleeping giant. It would wipe out the whole land of Luzon!
DOC MC that is one of the stupidest comments I’ve ever seen on RUclips - and I watch paranormal videos all the time, which means I am exposed to stupidity on a daily basis in a big way. This is nothing when compared to the eruption of Pinatubo, also on Luzon and also not far from Manila. Pinatubo exploded like a nuclear bomb, and it didn’t come close to destroying Luzon. Open a book sometime or at least use your brain on occasion.
even here in the metro, we got ashfalls, especially last night.
Highways from Batangas to the North, esp. in Manila, is Zero Visibility, with Accident-cause Casualties.

It's the larger one beside it
Player_ 0621 It’s still part of Taal, they just named the vents individually. Taal used to be a tall volcano but due to numerous eruptions the top no longer exists. Only the base remains comprising of Tagaytay & Cuenca. You can search for an illustration of what Taal use to look like which is similar to Mayon’s cone shape.
Nice
thank u
I live just 25km away but the ashfall here is minimal. Big difference to places 10 minutes away. But there are earthquakes practically every 30 minutes. But everyone is helping one another. This morning my brother donated a lot of his clothes and some people who donated came back with food for themselves ironically since there was an overwhelming amount of donations from the local population that officials gave some back to people who donated on the first place. It's really heartwarming to see.

i didnt know that volcanos have some kind of disco
2:52 that is not the volcano itself. The actual crater of the Taal volcano is in the middle of the island. And it has water inside look like a little lake.
Looks like an ATOMIC BOMB WHEN DROP
If you're wondering how it feels to live in a city near Taal, It's scary, it's been a week since I went outside our house, since my dad never let me out, the ash from the volcano isn't even like powered ash more like sandy, some of the cities (who are nearer) evacuated and most of the people there are my family members since Calabarzon is most likely where our ancestors lived and we doesn't get any info about them, there's still no water and electricity there. And based on my cousin who lives there and is staying with us, 2 days ago you could feel the ground shaking every 5 minutes.
The entire lake is the caldera
The background music is scary .....
Whoever does the music for South China Post is amazing! Always something that suits every video.
That is amazingly beautiful but terrifying as well.
No wonder people believed this gods. What an amazing sight
every volcano is different, but this one the lightning is unique, beautiful, and it look small but the most dangerous one....
It's not small that that picture of Taal at 2:55 is only a small part of it.
The background music is more terrifying than the video itself. Lol
You will understand that the video is more terrifying if u would be in their situation
Thats a beautiful sight
Let's pray together for everyone's safety! 🇵🇭 🇲🇽 🇯🇵 🙏

I remember going there with family and were conversing about the possibility of it exploding or if the ash and earthquakes reach Manila. Guess I got my answer quite early.
This happened when I was in Christchurch men's prison in the pound for 4 months it went from a dormant volcano to level 4 in a matter of days we had the prison officer's begging for me to stop

Just last month, a 6.9 magnitude earthquake, 3 weeks ago, the last of the big 20 typhoons a year and now this, a volcanic eruption of our taal Volcano 🌋, just yesterday our other Volcano 🌋, mount Mayon was raised to alert level 2, no other country in the world gets subjected to this much of natural disasters, my countrymen's resiliency is one for the books.
Alert level 2 in Mayon isn't really alarming. If you live in Bicol, Mayon is constantly in alert level 1-2. But if there's an increased volcanic activity like sending out more smokes, more earthquakes, etc. It will be raised to level 3. If a lava dome forms, level 4.
I always wonder how a volcanic eruption can start a localize thunderstorm right above the volcano?
Volcano lightning is just awesome
