There's an important difference: the wireless version MM731 seems to have a mechanical wheel encoder, while MM730 is one of those rare mice that have both optical switches AND an optical scroll wheel. For me, mechanical scroll wheels rarely live more than two years. They just wear out soon. I have seen multiple Amazon complaints about Steelseries Prime and Razer Viper and Deathadder v2 that their wheel wears out even in just a few months! So what's the point of manufacturers bragging about how durable optical switches are if they put a crappy mechanical wheel in the mouse. Unfortunately, you can count on your fingers how many mice there are with both optical switches AND optical scroll wheel. And even those have some caveats or quality issues. I myself prefer heavier mice, they just feel more sturdy and more accurate when editing images and needing pixel accuracy. Unfortunately, there seem to be no heavy, durable, long-lasting mice with optical switches and an optical wheel encoder. If you know such a mouse, please let me know. I guess, I'll have to buy MM730, although it might feel fragile with its light weight.
@Frikoppie Brilliant. I got Razer Deathadder V2 Wired which is a good ergonomic mouse with good sensor performance. It was going for a good deal so went with it. mm730 is also a great mouse.
@engkong5823 I have Cooler master mice. MM710, MM720 and MM70 primarily because i wanted to try different shapes at cheap and they're really good. Haven't had any issues with the software. I like MM730 better than the Pwnage wireless ergo, I'd like it better if it was wireless but is ok.
@@engkong5823 I bought it yesterday (mm730 the wired one) and my issues are mainly with the RGB cycling mode being way too fast and the colors don't change smoothly. Other than that, the mouse is insane, from the buttons to the scroll wheel (it's.more tactile than razer's viper/cobra and the one on the g403 which I was after) especially for the price of 30-40 euros. Make sure that the shape fits your needs as this is the most important thing.
Who's playing Star Citizen right now?? Send me a friend request! IAMSQUATCH is my ign :)

Did you buy the mm730? Can you share your experience? Is the scroll wheel good enough to last?

I use this mouse too! I have big hands too, but my grip style works really well with its size. Cool review! 😎
