Just a tip for if you are pressed on time and/or are protein sensitive. Mix your olaplex/bond salve with your hydrating deep conditioner. I personally do a 40/60 ratio because my hair is protein sensitive. Play around with the ratio and see what your hair likes. It helps cut down on wash day routine time and ensures that your hair is getting a more balanced protein and hydrating treatment. Ive always done this out of instinct, but I recently ran it by my stylist, which she approved and actually stated is much better to do because it's more balancing ^_^

I don't understand how these RUclipsrs can layer products on their hair without visible buildup for the final look. If I put on two products I see lots of buildup and it's too much work re-washing/rinsing it all out. And I have 2C curls. What am I missing?
All curls are different and they have different needs sounds like you have wavy hair not curly the curlier and tighter the curl the more product it needs since it has high porosity
Your hair type is different than hers. 2c is wavy curly. Also, I believe it depends on the hair type. Mine is high porosity and I have very heavy and thick product and my hair loves it
Maybe wait for one product to soak in before you put in the next one. That’s what I do if I put a conditioner before gel. Always wait for the conditioner to soak in. If you need to re-wet it before adding the next product that’s fine. I don’t have perfect hair, by the way, but that helps

She should wear a bonnet that's made for her hair length. And she will wake up the next day with neat hair. As long as the hair is detangled when styling (on wash day)

I have a question do you wet your hair daily will you rinse it daily? I don't wash my hair daily I wash it once a week but I do rinse my hair daily because I work in a gym and it gets very humid and I sweat very heavily and there's a lot of dust and I'm cleaning up after people so I feel like I just have to rinse my hair everyday is that bad? I have hair exactly like yours but mine's does not stay that way after about 30-40 minutes it starts to freeze up in certain places I still have my curls but it just doesn't look good to me I've been on a hair Journey for some time now trying to find every product to help my hair of course all products that are friendly and don't have silicones and all that other jazz but I still cannot tame my hair I am 39 years old and I have been finger combing my hair my whole life I just used a denim brush a few months ago it made my curls so curly that I wasn't too happy didn't look like a lot of volume My Curls kind of stuck to my head it was a lot to deal with and then I decided to buy a detangling brush that has all the flexible teeth and even with that my hair is super defined super curly but I cannot get rid of the frizz after about an hour of wearing my hairstyle so I don't have any idea how everyone goes days or even a week with the same hairstyle I literally have to freshen it up all throughout the day or I have to wet it down
