She is now an outspoken advocate of lockdowns, this new vaccine, and government overreach. And she is a very intelligent, well-read person, which makes me even more concerned. If someone like her can be assimilated into this cult then anyone can.

The people that they usually agree with on topics like abortion, immigration, race/gender, taxes, etc are now advocating for incredibly far left and even authoritarian positions on Twitter and FB. So these people think that these extremist voices are normal people like them and go along with it so that they can fit in. Going against the grain is just too scary and infighting is too stressful.
I’m center right and I have a bunch of friends to the right of me that I argue with all the time. Reagan said never to call out a fellow conservative and I think that was the stupidest thing he ever said. These conversations need to be had. We need to bring critical thinking and actual debate back.

Fear controls us all at some level of awareness. We know if we're late to our job, we can get fired. If we don't pay our bills, we lose everything. If we don't be subservient cogs in the machine, we get replaced. If we don't make enough money, we fall into poverty. If you're lucky enough to love your job and wake up everyday actually looking forward to it, you are truly a lucky person! The world is so fuckin competitive. No matter how good you may be at your job, there's 100s or even thousand who could do it better for less money, and if your boss discovers then, you're out and they're in. All backstabbing and no loyalty.
What about the dying off of the American middle class? Statistics show it's happening. Ask any working class, nonprofessional who doesn't have alot of work connections or a stable blue collar trade career. It's downright scary. Our government literally is owned by the rich and since there's no end to their greed, we all know where the middle class is going. And at the end of the day, they'll blame the markets, the high cost of living, and they'll blame the workers, who's wage is stagnant,for not bettering themselves. My fear, and i have a hard time controlling it daily, is not the uncertainty of, but the certainty that, we're heading full steam ahead to a neo feudalistic society, where the working man is nothing more than a replaceable cog. Actually we're there already. And as i grow older, 40 almost, and my body aches daily, my lower back feels like I have spinal stenosis, and my blue collar job continues to destroy my health, and I have no health insurance....what's not to fear? Retirement in America? That's unlikely for 10s of millions of people unless they get an inheritance. America controls it's citizens through fear. I've heard that there are modern societies like Denmark and Norway who don't crush their citizens with hyper competitiveness like America does. Our taxpayer dollars go toward corporate subsidies instead of social welfare. We have a bloated military and a prison population exploding instead of affordable education and healthcare. Corporate theft happens to us daily. Stable job career in America? Military service or policeman. America equals social Darwinism where those born into wealth control everyone who isn't.
I'm like Neo in the Matrix, I want out.

(No interest in Brady Bunch style zoom meetings) Yet, I get validation from the wisdom of this channel in ways that I found lacking in my 12 step click. AA is fine, (up to a point). I've been to many meetings myself over the years, but there's a time that you have to move on. Some folks believe they have to stay with AA all their lives. Like you, I believe in moving on. Sure, stay sober, but live life and try other forums.

Whoever you are that is making these videos, keep it up!!! I had studied politics, psychology, sociology, philosophy and other sciences simply because it is who I am, always wanted to know as much as possible about life, knowledge is my passion, so I had been trying to share all I understand with others my entire adult life. I am very aware of the fact that very few people ever wanted to hear any of it, but it is a little better now that many are starting to question things, so I usually try to condense things for them as much as is possible. However, I do hope that as they are waking up they might be more willing to put a bit of an effort and time into listening to the videos like yours. I think you are doing a brilliant job here! So after all that study, you can see what this video is doing then? ... the video creator has used the same techniques he describes in this video and applies it to push fear in the watchers... he uses fears to push his ideology and his beliefs...the irony and hypocrisy in this video is very intresting and funny. .

I have to give you as the creator of this channel much respect. Even on subjects I am familiar with I walk away with a more depth and sometimes ( often ) I am forced to challenge my own ideas and beliefs. I didnt get to finish university way back when but have read many many books as it seems my thirst for Truth and understanding never ends. Your videos are like the summation of many lectures all wrapped up in a simple easy to digest 10 - 15 minute talk. It's like a healthy snack full of nutrients for the hungry mind especially considering how we are all so busy there isn't always time to digest a whole book which are often filled out with unnecessary fluff to justify its selection...so Thank you. It's an awesome gift you give and I just need to express my gratitude to all of you behind it.

I watch this during the stay at home orders during covid. Somehow, I can truly relate this to my mormon past or how many religions are based off of fear and devaluing questions.
Wait... Now you need to extricate your mind from thoughts of the past and focus what you have learned on why you are in lockdown and your CURRENT situation. Listen to the program. What words are repeated? We’re in it together, new normal, vaccine, virus, social distancing, etc. Remember it’s not called a trap because it is easy to see and fear robs us of our higher level thinking.
