There was supposed to be DLC for the game, but I think it got cancelled by Sony. The team had the whole episode written and ready to go and everything.

I just made a theory about clockwerk being worshipped in the prehistoric world, you can see wallpaintings in sly 3 episode 2 dark caves with a giant bird, and people worshipping a time travel-vortex in the sky. Clockwerk obiously travelled there to find the first cooper, Bob. I just came here to see the cutscene and be accurate about it, and yeah, murray's necklace throws the gang to prehistoric australia. Pretty crazy right?
I wonder if we started a hash tag, got one really famous streamer to play through the series we might get a Sly 5. I feel like this series just NEEDS that closure. Maybe another journey through time (going forward and with new ancestors of course) the big bad can be Clockwerk each time replacing a part of himself to try and beat Sly. (Someone else had a really cool idea that the gang actually recruits an Owl in the modern day and they end up becoming Clockwerk somehow when they reach the end of the story making it this really huge Paradox. If the story doesn't go the first way then it could go the second way and instead of sly being there in every time period we could just play as the ancestor for each one as the main thief.
I really wish sony would just give us the 5th games and finally end the series with no cliffhangers this time. There are plenty of old devvoted fans who want to know what happens. At least give us a movie sony if not a game explaining the ending at least a movie.

It's only great for only 2 reasons for me. 1. The ancestors and playing as them. And 2. One of the best Carmelita voices. And grey Delisle or Griffin. Playing as her.
I played the first three games back in the PS2 and this game, in the ps3, is actually one of my least favorites be honest with you. The graphics are great but instantly compromised by the fact that it stutters in the PS3. The gameplay felt more stiffer compared to the first three sly games which had graphics that were not as great, but the movements and FPS were just smooth as butter.

Loved the game. Sly 2 remains the crown jewel of the Sly franchise, but this is a close second. Shame there won't be a follow up.
