Brittney, Glad you are back, give your daughter her space, as she gets older she will understand you only have her best interest at heart. You are not the only parent who goes through these growing pains, your daughter is trying to make her mark in the world, sometime we as parents have to allow our children to make mistakes, she will be back and you will be able to repair what has happened. Hey sista girl! So glad your back. Praying for you and your family. I saw you and the boys along time ago at the sunfresh near my house. So I 'think' I know the district ur talking about. My daughter also had some issues with the not so diverse district we are in. But with time and with her joining sports and school clubs it got much much better. And now she's off to college near by. She didn't even want to look at colleges past MO/KS. Wishing you guys nothing but strength and happiness during this difficult time. Peace blessings and #GOCHIEFS
Aw darn, you should've said hello! I probably would've held you up talking lol. I'm glad your daughter managed to find ways to enjoy her experience. Congrats to her and best wishes on her college journey! Phoenix joined NAHS and even began to start a cultural club. She had a teacher sponsor and was well on her way to receiving double the number of student signatures she needed. She also took a game design program through the tech program. She was doing well but was presented with another option. We're hoping it suits her well.

Hi Britney, so glad to see you back. I can't believe it's been 2yrs but seeing the kids so big now makes it all the more real. Britney you have always been one of my favorites. I even got other family members to bind watch you when you use to post. I just want to say with all do respect to you. Please allow Phoenix to go. Its like that old saying when you really love someone, you are willing to let them go. It also reminds me of that story in the bible when. The 2 women had babies and one woman's baby died and she stole the other lady's baby and said it was hers. Well the judge said he would cut the baby in half. The real mom screamed and said noooooooo! Let her have the baby. It's because she was the true mother and would rather see her baby alive with the other women than dead. All I'm saying is if she's not happy and feels there's not enough diversity where she is, then don't allow her to suffer or be mistreated. It's not fair to her. Please don't allow any type of stubbornness to set in because of the indifferent relationship with her father. It's not about him, it's about what's best for Phoenix. So many parents are trying their best to live the all American dream and give their kids a nice home and a good life but at what cost? I know so many minority kids that suffer a lot of mental and sometimes physical abuse at school/ neighborhood by their peers and even teachers. Some kids go into depression, act out and some even committ suicide. So please let her go and be comfortable in an environment that is more beneficial and peaceful for her. I know you love your first born Beautiful Phoenix but true love is letting her go and knowing you have planted a seed of love inside her that will remain inside her and will bring her back when it's time. I'll be praying for you and your families healing 🙏 ❤️

@BritneyDearest I promise. I am a bonus mom Of 2 that we had joint custody of. They started acting crazy and it was so much drama and mess with them and their birth mom but God is Amazing and it worked out. Once they saw we weren't moved by confusion and kept raising the son we had together, they came around quickly. My baby gorl is 21 and she is on my insurance and I just paid for her schooling. They never leave 🤣😂

Keep god first in ur home read ur bible let that take be ur strength. Ur daughter just have a little influence will come to light with her when she move. She will learn and see things differently when she move bc everything not going to be peaches and cream as he making it for when she move to Texas. U just be there for her when things change for her and she comes back home. Keep praying and work on ur selves and ur home, health thing will get better. Put god first read and pray. Sometimes we have to let our kids fall so they know how to get back up again. As painful as that is. She’s at an age she is trying to figure out who she is on her own outside of you. Outside of your daughter. She has to make this jump. All we can do as parents is lead them in the right direction. Show them the right path. And pray when they get to a certain age, that she remembers the path you laid before her. What she has to do is respect you. She doesn’t have the right to disrespect you or your home. But this time will pass. Just give her her space. You’re a good Mom. The hardest relationship ever is Mothers and daughters . Mothers and Sons are easy! I made a decision when my kids were young that I couldn’t blur the line between parent and friend because it would become too hard to discipline them if we became friendly. I made sure they understood the difference and it helped in situations where I had to lay down the rules and deal with hard situations. But teenagers are HARD WORK! And as much as we know it going in we don’t understand how hard it is until our kids become these holy terrors called teenagers how hard it actually was going to be. Just breathe and pray and repeat. Much love my sister. I will keep you all in prayer. 🙏🏾 ❤
